  • @ImphenziaMusic i like techno. i wasn't all that into trance until i started doing your tutorials which have helped me a great deal even tho i am a noob and use ableton live i also have reason 5 but prefer ableton for the use of the vst plugins you have helped me so much thanx and keep up the good work and to hell with trends dubstep for one ..

  • like a time machine back to 1999!!!!

  • @Harrymooremusic I don't follow the trend =)

  • @ImphenziaMusic good as much as i love the techy stuff round today i think the emotion has gone out the music and the tracks like alt and f4 1998 and orange theme are the best

  • @ImphenziaMusic @ImphenziaMusic

and what is the trend now?

  • @vipivoxa I don't know actually, I don't listen much to "modern" trance/dance/club music but I think the latest thing is that everyone sounds like avicii or if it's the other way around :)

  • @ImphenziaMusic

=) yeah avicii is nice. i think you sound a little bit like him ha ha or other way around :D:D

however i was more concerned that trend of making electro music at home is changed or something... Though i don't remember how it was in 1999 ;)

  • Cool! What drums do you use?

  • Another great video. There are too many tutorials that just go into the basics of kick, hats, clap and an off beat bass. You have presented this in greater detail here, which is really helpful for all to see whatever level they are at. I'll watch the notes vid tomorrow. I think it would be interesting to show peeps the effect plugins you use. But having said that, the vids I have seen are very good and many thx for sharing your skills. Musta been a lot of work, thx once again.

  • @europica Thank you. I found that if I explain using text rather than by voice I can keep the videos shorter with more direct messages (and less "boring" silent sections with just speech.) When it comes to effects I nearly exclusively use the delay and reverb that comes with the VST instrument. I probably should use more external ones but I tend to be very happy with what is bundled with the instrument that I just go for that. But thanks for suggesting a topic.

  • @ImphenziaMusic Ahh I see, thx for letting me know about the effects. I think you've done it spot on with writing text rather than speech. I've tried using the instrument reverb but cant get that sond that glues the whole thing together.

  • I've been producing for a year, and ive got a LOT to learn, but WOW youre incredible!

  • @Bt2BreakSkn Thanks mate. Luckily enough there will always be a lot to learn for everyone =)

  • @ImphenziaMusic lol definitely :D Anyways, nice work

  • You are unbelieveable! I've tried to make music with FL Studio 9, but it's hard, extremely hard, but you make this look so easy, but it isn't. You are awesome!

  • @Moyjk You are too kind Moyjk :) Imphenzia has been around nearly 15 years now and before that I created (some awful) music for a few years as well, but I think everything comes with practice. I couldn't find tutorials like this when I started so I'm more than happy to share how I do things if it helps someone along the way to making music =)

  • @ImphenziaMusic I first discovered Imphenzia like 1 year ago. The music you make is very relaxing. When I solve jigsaw puzzles, I always listen to your music. But I gotta say that you are really amazing, if you started making this without tutorials.
