Thank you for another great tutorial. I've followed along with you step by step and made my daughters both one of these and they loved it. You're very talented. Have a wonderful day.
Awesome tutorial!! Your instructions are clear and easy to follow. Definitely must try!! You mentioned in your tut you still had to do much more embellishing, and this album is already really Beautiful!! Imagine the end result was just Crazy Beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing. Hugz:) Taylor
Great tutorial!! I love that you showed the book with a binding that wasn't done with a bind-it-all, as I don't have one of those and haven't seen one done yet without. Can't wait to try this out!! Thanks for sharing! :o)
@1sweetbonbon Grunge"board" is a Tim Holtz product - it's compressed paper, basically a thick (like chipboard) material that is flexible. So Grunge"paper" is a thinner version of that, it almost has a leather-type feel to it, only a bit sturdier. Hope that describes it for you! :-)
@LakeAvenueDesigns hi! Im looking for that product from the day i do scrapbooking but i can't find any...do you have any idea for a substitute for the Grungeboard?
@MyFunScraps I'm trying to remember what I did - because this album has sold, but I believe I measured the chipboard slightly larger than the inside pages - so the covers would both measure 6 3/4 x 5 1/2 (this should give you an extra quarter inch on the the top, right side, and bottom. The spine was made with grunge-paper and that piece was probably at least 3 x 5. Also, I used a "medium-weight" chipboard for the covers. I hope this answered your question! Marla :-)
I love it too, I am new to this craft and have been a little overwhelmed by all the ideas, but I really love yours the best and am going to copy it. You have a very nice way of teaching, not too many "erms" and "er"s. Love to your little helper too :)
I really appreciate your tutorial, I have never made one cause I didn't quite understand how to put one together. You have made it much easier, you rock. where do you buy your chipboard?
@morenasa75 I'm so happy you enjoyed the tutorial! Recently I have been buying my chipboard from walmart dot com, it's medium weight chipboard and it's a really great price! Thanks for watching!! :-)
