Stop trying to glorify the 90's so much just because you had a good childhood.

The reason why the 90's was good was because of our advances. The World Wide Web, the end of apartheid in South Africa, the end of the USSR and the economy boom were good things that made the 1990's good. Even then, there were tons of crap for other countries as well, like the Rwanda Genocide, the Srebrenica Massacre, UN Yugoslavia Bombing.

You guys aren't missing the 1990s, your missing your good childhood.

The worst part though is the 90s nostalgia freaks complaining how the 2000s sucked today and you can make an argument that it did suck for america but for the rest of the world it was pretty good. Some dictators fell, no significant war outside middle east, it was a pretty peaceful decade for the rest of world. Also, world GDP per capita rose

We gained in technology with mp3s, fast internet, mobile phones but all the fun got sucked out of everything, I dont know the spirit of people just went and now everyone is just a clone of each other watching crappy reality tv shows and always scared about shit. I don't think you can say that. Reality TV has been popular since the 80's, and tons of stuff carried well into the 2000s. I see no change in culture between 1998 and 2000.

The 90's were freakin awesome and of course the best decade. I was born 1991, and loved the 90's :D Whatever happened to the origional tamogotchis, pogs, all those cool Nick shows and wanting to sit on the orange couch, and the days when Saturday morning tv used to play Pokemon, Fresh Prince, and have those cool competitions with kids that you always wanted to go on? Where did the presenters of tv channels dissapear to? Presenters like Bogey and Yolly from Nickelodeon? Man the 90s were the best!

I don't understand. If you were born in 1995, you wouldn't understand the 90s at all. I mean, "...Baby One More Time" was released in 1998---you'd be 3, maybe 4. The decade to be associated with is usually the decade in which you were a teen/young adult. So, I'm sorry, but you're a 2000s/2010s child like me.
