As for Avery, the guy did contribute to the music, but JA is far from paralyzed without him. You have to be pretty biased towards him in order to not hear how good their music has been without him. Sometimes, when key members leave, you can hear a major difference in the music quality. I don't hear it here. It's just as good, if not better.

I also think it's sad how many people are ignorant of music history, or history in general and don't realize Jane's came way before those other bands.

Fankhauserg, that's an interesting obersvation and it would be a cool audio trick. But, it doesn't make sense and I'm an Atheist. You can't say a god isn't real and then claim it's dead because, in order to die, you have to be real. But I can hear how those lyrics could sound that way.
