This is the original version. The racers were reduced to 4 in the Greatest Hits aka "Championship Edition" version to increase speed.

and if you remarked it, there are more speed in the championship edition!

This game reads any audio CD for music. I burned a disc and made the Beatles "here comes the sun" the song for heaven, and then transition to Rob Zombie's "More human than human" for hell. it was sweet

I hate when you go to IGN and see this game gets a 7.0 while jet moto 3 gets like a 7.2 if i remember correctly. Jet moto 3 blew so bad compared to this.

Well like I said in the original comment the emulator at the time would not play the music, just the sound effects. Im sure it works right now and people have made playthrough videos anyway. Before mine there was nothing.
