Not a bad idea. In fact, some of the other games they can try with the pool are Sumo Ball, Suspension Bridge, and Pole-Axe.

Well you'll be pleased to hear that Suspension Bridge has now returned to the new UK series. I'm not sure about Pole-Axe as it might be tricky getting those giant steel spheres into the pool!

Yeah, unfortunately matresses aren't as safe, as was proved when a contender broke her back in pole axe, hence why they introduced the safety harnesses for pole axe in the latter series.
