This is the problem that people don't get when they complain about multi monitor setups. "why dont they just use projectors?" Well its not actually surrounding you like monitors would... You could do it with projectors but it would take alot more work than what he's already done

@pilotenhandboek not really. all you need is a white sheet of any material you like arranged in a curved shape, and project from inside. it still easier than 3 monitors and can be done with a single projector.

unlike 3 flat screens, which would still get a bit of fisheye no matter what, not to mention huge black gaps between the screens.

@GraveUypo Have you ever actually tried that before? I'm not referring to a fisheye effect. You need special software to compensate for the curvature of the screen. FOV is irrelevant, the picture is distorted no matter what the FOV is.

Is it me or is every reviewer out there is too poor to get a camera stand? Enough with the handheld bullshit. Get a stand, take multiple shots. Edit it in a clean video. ITS NOT THAT HARD.

Oh and 720p surround is the equivalent of 1200p, it's lame. You would be better off with a single 1080p projector.

My 5870 can do this, no need for a dual GPU card.

But until ATI get their drivers sorted, I'm going back to NVidia. Just sold 1 of my 2 5870's and ordered an Asus 580 GTX. The ATI drivers get my 5870 gpu stuck in 99% activity which in turn messes up my Rampage 3 Extreme Motherboard PCI-E slot. Sigh.. its a waste, those 5870's were so nice.

Too flat! Ugly number 720. Low. Hardware should goal 1200 px hight. That is the golden number. Once they reach it, then It will be worth. Happy with my 2 monitors: Samsung Nvidia 3D kit+ Acer Predator 1920x1200. Running from ATI 5870+965 AMD Processor+ 7-7-7 Fast RAM. Nice video!
