  • i dont know who is hotter jack kelley or thomas berger?...

  • I would love to see the look on some nazi cock suckers fighter pilots face when he looks up to see who just shot him as he bails out of his Me-109 and sees an American black pilot. Superior race my ass.

  • @svenmega10022 we are the superior race, compared to the likes of you. adolf hitler was not racist, neither were the ns of the mid 20th century, ass. grow up some, might clear up your skin. if you know? or not? hitler offered jesse owens german citizenship after the olympic games, but the press wouldnt let him to the runner. ha. really, this movie is about swing kids, not your backwards moral compass. have fun with you mother, im sure she will enjoy it.

  • I'm glad C. Bale didn't take sissy titanic roles. He is the man!

  • thanks to the democratically elected government of germany, i can't watch the 5th part of this :A

  • @chaomonga

Ja, das geht mir auch so. Haha, Mist.

  • I'm NS but u gotta admit Swing is cool!

  • Did I hear Peter call Thomas the King of Harlem? I think he is mistaken... Christian Bale is the King of New York:)

  • Thomas's father is just so typical of the time. Horrid man.

  • nice theme movie, swing is the direct contradiction of the nazi totalitarian state. lol. swing is free nazi is repressive.

    Looks fun!

  • it IS christain bale! i knew he looked familiar, hes so muich younger..

    and a nazi

  • arvid is such a prick. i get there's a reason he's the way he is, and of course it's terrible that he dies, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a total jerk. * spoiler* thomas betrays them eventually but at this point arvid really should have been thanking him, and maybe if he had it would have helped him not to lose faith in the swing kids :(

  • @scottwiese15 this song is NOT by Louis prima, it's by Benny goodman. All the songs that Louis prima sings are remakes, they are not originals

  • Hey! It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. Do wah, do wah, do wah, do wah, do wah.

  • :D

Love that song "sing, sing, sing"!

Our swing club at our school danced to that for a show- not as good as these guys of course:P :)

    Sing Sing Sing

    louis prima

    gotta love that song

play it in the jazz band at my school

  • ahhh BESt PART!!!! lol thats right unhh! Go frieken bale... I love swing...

  • Lol, hell yeah, Christian Bale, you show that cripple-beater!

My God, swing-dancing looks like so much fun....... >_> Oh, so not fair, why can't swing and jazz be popular today? That looks way too fun, and I love the music.....

  • Lindy hop, the dance that they're doing in this movie, still has a good following today - especially in the states as the dance originated there. If you're in or near a major US city, or near a University or college, chances are they'll have someone teaching Lindy hop. It is a massively fun dance :). If you want to see how it was done in the day, search for hellzapoppin on youtube. If you want to see how it is today, search for "Skye and Frida" as just one example of how the dance is today.

  • It still is popular. All kinds of Jazz is still popular. U go to clubs the kind with that kind of music and u'll see ppl still dancing. It's just other genres of music are a little more popular. Me I love swing jazz.

  • @mmmchingawa i agree it's a hell of a lot better than the "sex with clothes on" dancing we got today

  • @baklava151 it's not so much THAT..... dancing has always been a step away from sex. That's part of it's purpose. But swing dancing takes skill. You don't just hop around like a giant drunken ape.

  • @groovylocks now that i do think about it that is true.

  • 6:26 was anyone else thinking "circle pit"?

  • at 0:09, that's the dude from ER!

  • Yeah, I know, there's a bunch of known people there, like, the guy that gets beat up is the one in "Batman Begins", the one that helps him is on "House" and the one that picks him up before he gets into prison is Lockheart from "The Chamber of Secrets"

  • The history of humanity is one abomination after another. Heir Fuhrer tried to bring peace through genocide and then some fools stand up and say "well the economy was fine" and everybody had a job. While dissent was non-existent and anyone who disagreed was silenced with extreme prejudice. Please. To even hint about the Nazis "successes" reveals only one truth. Even when we are in our right minds we can still be deceived!

  • you know the song he sang.. "it don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing. do wah do wah.. ect"

Does anyone know what it is called? :S

  • It's Called "It dont mean a thing"(If it aint got that swing) (both names)

  • its duke ellington

  • the moment he singed I knew he'd be a star!

  • All hollywood films bring up only the bad elements of Nazi Germany. They never show that the economy went from bottom to blooming and that unemployment didn't exist. In sted they focus on censorship and penalism. Not really accurate since you don't get the whole picture of what National Socialism brought to Germany up until WW2. And please don't swear at me and call me a nazi sympathiser now. So much of that nonesence every time I write something. I just want to be realistic.

  • Most people would disagree with you not because of Hollywwod, but because a "blooming economy" is not worth the oppression and genocide of innocent citizens. Freedom, democracy, and safety are more important to most people than the economy, which is why we see only the negative side of Nazi Germany in movies. A reasonable person would conclude that freedom and dignity outweigh a blooming economy in importance. Now that is being realistic.

  • A select group of Germans had the high standard of living. Again, that would depend on one's idea of "standard of living". Being afraid to speak out against your government, seeing your neighbours and friends being persecuted, and being practically (and in many cases literally) forced to join the nazi party, would not strike most people as a high standard of living. Money isn't everything.

Besides, who wants to see a film about Germany before the Reich got really bad? It's not really relavent.

  • Furthermore, It sounds like perhaps you are the one who has been listening to too much propaganda. You sound like a brainwashed child.

  • FDR the great American President who ended the Depression. Well no one ever talks about his internment of the japanese, germans and Italians, his extreme censorship during wartime such as anti war protestors, FDR allowed black to be discriminated against. The point is Hollywood glamorizes anything American and generally rewrites history for itself. 100 years from now I wouldn't suprised if people start saying that Jesus was American and so was Napolean and Gandhi too

  • I agree with you that there's a tendency in American cinema to ignore American atrocities, but I would say that if you look beneath the surface and dig into the wealth of non-blockbuster films that are quietly ignored by the mainstream, you can find some real gems that address our nation's own failures.

  • Lol, FDR didn't end the Depression. World War II did. And we sure as hell know what was wrong with WWII. Sure, FDR helped it along, but ultimately, we can hesitantly and reluctantly thank WWII for ending the economic crisis. But we'll keep our fingers crossed while we do so.

  • why did they started fighting? when the woman got in the room.

  • of course

  • It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing.

  • took that from south park :P

  • nazi pieces of shit, hope all nazis rot in hell, especially adolf hitler, I'm so glad he committed suicide, a guy like him should kill himself he doesn't deserve to live.

  • Christian isss sooooo hotttt

  • i think the dog's a good touch when Christiana pets him

  • Please don't curse on the comments. I'm deleting all your comments with curse words. Sorry. If you want to leave a comment on the actual movie, do it without swearing.

  • Good movie thanks to upload these parts

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Could you please add the rest of the movie? Thanks again!
