The stock esc and motor and junk and didn't last long in mine. The motor combo itself is barely strong enough for a 2wd 1:10th truck. I'm waiting on a ezrun 1:8th combo for my trooper. I've had some serious motor cogging issues with mine but it seems to roll just fine. Not a bad car and great for the price off of hobbyking
