I also can confirm it doesnt work on psp version...in fact all the fun stuff was taken out for the most part...except maybe the underground garden save point secret is still in it but its just harder to accomplish

you only need the sword card. once you turn on the relic then you can cast the spell. you never have to buy it. you cant.

Strange. I got 69 level, 70 level of familiar sword, and cast the spell but I can not go directly from the shop to my equipment. I tried in different ways and to enter into my inventory. I must first leave the store to get into my inventory:. Please help I need a duplicator, I have 200.3% of the game

Seems to work on all versions. First sell all but one ring. Then do the sword brothers spell and quickly run up to the librarian while the spell is taking place. Then while in the menu press start and equip the ring you want to duplicate then go back to the sell screen and sell the equipped ring.

@Th3mast3r69, it actually doesn't work in the PSP version. Unless the rumor to beat the game is true, cause I got the sword to spin, walked up to the librarian while it's still spinning and can't enter my equipment.

The name of the ring you want is Ring Of Varda from a Paranthropus (big yellow skeleton in the Inverted Castle) . But you can only get it if you defeat Dracula first . Still, I advise you to get the Arcane Ring before doing so ( you can get it under the librarian's chair, hitting it many times after getting the boots) 'cause it increases the chances of dropping a rare item.

what spell? The Sword Brothers? It'll never be on sale. You don't actually need a scroll to be able to cast the spell. You just need enough mo and know the commands to cast it.

Go to the Colisseum in the inverted castle. Find the room that is just below the save point on the left side of the mapped coliseum area (check the subscreen for this). There, you'll find a large weapon storage room filled with two Axe Armors, two complete sets of Bone Musket enemies, and a couple of thsoe helmeted skeletons with the swords. At the back of this room is a candlestick that drops a $1000 bag of gold every time it is struck.

I've found this works best if you turn Alucard into a bat, fly him to the back of the room, and from there, use Force of Echo to hit the candlestick with the $1000 and kill a couple of the Bone Muskets. Revert to human form, and use the Jewel Sword to finish off all other enemies in the room. You won't get any experience, but these guys will drop a lot of zircons, turquoises, and aquamarines. Just keep leaving and re-entering that room, and fly up and save as needed at the point above. :-)

My favourite weapons are the crissaegrim,alucard sword and the shield rod.The shield rod when combined with shields is very effective.The sword familiar weapon is pretty good too.

The jewel sword is definitely worth its weight in gold, when I was using it to get the $1000 gold bags in the colisseum, I racked up 150 zircons, 15 aquamarines and some turquoises. I got about $50,000 extra in gold and saved some time there, since I was working toward the Duplicator. And Crissaegrim is in a class by itself!

The Shield Rod + Shield combo is awesome, I didn't even know about that until recently, but it's really powerful against enemies!

I happen to be an avid Castlevania fan.I have got several Castlevania games for various consoles.Now if only a software company could make a version for PS2 of the first ever Castlevania arcade game called Haunted Castle.

You can buy the Sword Brothers spell off the librarian or you can just do the spell yourself. Just make sure you have enough MP.

The glitch challenges are around 50 times more challenging than a 'naked Alucard' challenge or anything of that sort. Stop flaming people who like to get Duplicators but aren't stupid (or just don't want to waste loads of time) enough to farm 500k.

Now I know why it isn't working for you. The SOTN version of the Dracula X Chronicles has been re-written for the PSP (New Script + New Song) and many glitches were corrected.
