Not really, the car was detuned, so it wasnt getting much out of the cams.....and the 4.10's werent that great from a roll when it had a lower rev limiter back then.
@slackerm1 oh alright. but the KB is for my car because i plan on upgrading the cams and the block here soon so ill be able to run higher boost. the vortechs are mainly for stock engines if you read more in depth on their sites. and i DONT want a procharger. have heard nothing but bad things from them.

the gt is supercharged and lighter, you ford guys always say "dur our motor's smaller dur" you dont realize the difference between the ford's overhead cam motor and chevy's overhead valve motor, the OHC has 2 or 4 cams (2 gt or bullit, 4 mach1 or cobra) that are drivin by a chain, the OHV only has 1 that is drivin by pushrods, OHC's rev higher and make make more horsepower per cubic inch, and once again they need a SUPERCHARGER to compete, idiot

I'm an ex-ricer who finally saw the light, not real smart on stangs yet. Why wouldn't you stroke out a mustang right away, wouldn't you gain like 40-50cid. I also wonder how those 4.10's run every day with a 5 speed, seems like Camaros always run 3.42's or lower and still pull hard, but I think they are 6 speeds right?
You only gain 20-21 ci's with a stroker and stock bore, and some of the stroker cars dont run as good, unless they have a bigger head, bigger cams and bigger blower to feed them. The 02 GT is a daily driver with the 4.10's, it has a 28" tall tire though. Most of the LS1 F-Body guys run 4.10's when they swap to a big cam, their .50 6th gear makes them turn really low rpm's on the highway.
Hey do you know if the Mac Long Tubes have enough clearance to drop the tranny? Most Long Tubes dont, so youd have to yank out the Long Tubes just to do a clutch. Sweet video btw, that vortech GT is killa
well with my bbk long tubes i managed to get the stock transmission out but it would be impossible to go back in. the t45 and tr3650 have an intergrated bellhousing that can't come off when in the car-the bellhousing bolts are on the inside of the bellhousing. good thing the stock trans was busted and i put a tko 500 in. never had to take the lts off though i did scratch some of the ceramic coating.
It was meant to be a Naturally Aspirated engine. With that said it would be a wild machine with a 100 or even a 150 shot. Thats a 650+ hp car with no SC/TC. But yeah if you were going to add a SC or a TC then 8:5 would be all you want for a CR.

Yea and it was a classic traction vs power race the first time, the second time the GT started in second from 20, which sucks. You can see it was faster, it made more power, similar weight, but not traction, which is the reason to race and see how things goes.
