  • Very nice presentaion. Thanks for sharing. I have recovered from FD of the embouchure. I found the use of sensory tricks (mind over gray matter), careful minimal use of an inexpensive medication for Parkinson's disease & dietary measures (low carb diet & supplementing with zinc & vitamin B6), and reducing copper exposure all vital components of my recovery.

  • Very nice presentation. Thanks for sharing.

  • What's the point of going into all this detail if it doesn't lead to a concrete solution? Interesting that the man who has been successfully re-habilitating musicians for 20 years or more, Joaquin Fabra, only gets acursory mention.

  • I too am a horn player with embouchure dystonia. I first started showing symptoms in 1997 and for years had no idea what was wrong. About 6 years ago I finally found out this was a condition and there was a name for it. I have for years tried to recover very unsuccessfully. I found the video about embouchure dysfunction on here by wilktone and I got almost immediate results after watching this and his other videos about embouchure type.

  • Thank you for putting this lecture online. There is a lot of mystery and speculation out there and this helps to dispel some of those myths and provide more factual information.

  • Always glad to see someone eduating others about forms of this crazy disorder.
