Finnish and Nordic (Yule) myths are arguably older and mostly separate from Greco-Roman and Middle Eastern ones up to Viking and Varangian ages. In those "santa" is not so nice...
Why do people come here and complain how shitty this movie is? I personally think it beats a lot of the internationally most well-known american movies. It's a big thing for us finns that a finnish movie has received this much gratitude and compliments from big countries such as the us. OMG this movie was very good made but the only thing i hated about this movie is the point where they find the big ice block with devil horns sticking out of it in the cargo with a giant evil Santa inside, but we never get to see Santa in action :(
The only onces doing the killing are his helpers and the ending felt like they didn't have money left to do special effects with the Gigantic Santa Claus! I wanted to see that big thing! not blow him up at the end without seeing his face :(

The only onces doing the killing are his helpers and the ending felt like they didn't have money left to do special effects with the Gigantic Santa Claus! I wanted to see that big thing! not blow him up at the end without seeing his face :(
