hey nice vid, im playing the "commander" mission which is suposed to be medium difficulty but 20 min into the game im always being delcared war upon by 1 computer AI and im unable to defend myself.. how can i avoid that? also.. ever since i updated to venice im getting spies sabotaging my settlement every 5 mins.. its anoying.. how did you turn that off?

@jpguille20 You mean the "General" scenario?

To avoid early war, pay attention to your diplomatic relationship with the AIs, use the "Ingratiate" and pay tribute when asked and don't grasp too many islands, also try to do as many quests as possible for Lord Northburg + organise Tournament regularly.

You can't turn off the sabotage feature when playing with Venice however you can play the scenario in the Vanilla version which doesn't have the sabotage feature.

@jeras97 organize tournaments whenever possiable do quests for gio lord and grand and sell items you get and dont need

i have the demo for this game and i see why they made it! its horrabl not the game the game is one of the best but its eretating you make this nice big settlement and boof its gone. im getting this ga,e!!!!!!

@beebeea1 Yeah, the campaign missions are not carry over so you have to start a new one. You can play the "Continuous game" , save and play it as long as you want.

I do have to ask you why you don't start your colony closer to the Oriental area, I usually chose an island that's a bit closer.

@Kylan0728 You meant the Oriental settlement ? The reason I chose that Oriental settlement is because it's close to my main island thus avoid the hassle of long voyage and increase the surviving rate of my tradeship.

It pretty much depends on the fertilities and the size of the island, you were lucky to have one like that close to the South ;P
