  • Awesome Music !

  • Has any one moded this song into skyrim? would be epic.

  • They should make a sequel starring Shia Lebouef and it is titled "We found another Mohican"

or an alternative, "The last of the Mejicans".

  • I dont understand who could dislike this video, like why would you search it just to dislike, this is a piece of art.

  • When I hear this I think of Maj Gen. Patrick Cleburne's charge at Franklin, he was one of the greatest Confederate generals of the American Civil War and lead his men into every battle bravely. He died charging fortifications at the Battle of Franklin leading his men on foot with his cap in one hand and his sword in the other. May he and his men rest in peace.

  • @AUG351 Amen to that

  • @AUG351 Doesn't sound like a good general if got himself shot on the front lines...

  • @muellerbones It was common for generals to get wounded or killed leading troops in battle in the Civil War and many wars before unlike generals in later wars how people think of staying behind the front lines. One reason generals had to be close or in the battle with their troops was because of good communication and rallying of the men. Many of the best generals of the war were killed or wounded in combat.

  • This song is just Legen.......

  • @TheAlexVaughan I don't know man... All I remember is that I left the cinema with a strange feeling, as if the seed of a melody was planted in my soul. 6 YEARS later I found out what was the melody that comforted me in some of the most difficult moments of my life. It was this one.

  • @2littlelies What's wrong with the guard? I've plenty of friends who have gone to war with the national guard, some have died. I am now in the guard off of active duty, my guard unit is leaving for Afghanistan in 7 months. A large percentage of my unit have college degrees, I myself am working on my PhD. The rumor that only destitute citizens join the military is simply false, liberal propaganda. There are men and women from all walks of life who want to serve their nation.

  • @Strelnikov10 ... good luck with your PhD

  • Dm, C, F, C, Dm

  • everybody comment on what ur moment is that u can see this song playing wjile u do something

  • Comment removed

  • It't one of the greatest soundtracks ever!

  • Comment removed

  • This song was playing when I got my Infantry cross rifles punched into my chest on honor hill. Great moment.

  • @Strelnikov10

When I was at Parris Island in fall '97, one of our drill instructors fired this up while giving us a motivational talk right before a drill formation competition. I didn't know what it was at the time, but damn it fired us up.

    Semper Fi

  • @wyleehokie Hell yea it did! Is it okay for an Army dog to say Semper Fi? If so, Semper Fidelis!

  • @Strelnikov10

Hell yeah it's allowed!! We are all on the same red, white and blue team

  • yay free the scots gael

  • This movie rocks partly because of this song.

  • Omg i love this song, finally found its name. Saw a band last weekend and they played it and i was asking evvvveryone what song it was and they didnt know. Drove me crazy. Awesome tunegae!

  • The motovation by which music calls us is epitomize by this song ..........Forward lads and lassies......SIEZE THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Followers of the best warriot who ever lived, Jesus Christ, put on your armor of God and fight the evil in this world. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but of dark spritual forces. Come to your King and fight by His side!! Run the the race until the end. Crucify your flesh and fight the good fight!!! Fight the wickedness within. Jesus Christ is here to help. He is coming soon so

  • this makes me wana grab my riffle and knife and run through the woods

  • @clodge631992 thats what i used to do when i was a kid. I would get a long stick and pretend it was a rifle, a small rake used in a sandbox and pretend it was a tomahawk, and I would get one of those plastic knives from a bow and arrow dart set and play this music in my head and run around in my backyard.

  • @toshleve i wish we would have sat around like the yanks when hitler was bombing the shit out of england.

  • @kikabiotch Lol I wish we didnt give you supplies and weapons and then assistance. Yet we did, and saved you guys. The United States of America might be on a little decline because of the scumbags in Political office, but it is still the land of opportunity, the land of freedom and hope, the land where one can go from rags to riches, the land I call great, the land I love, the land that is my home.

  • @ravensgangsta The land of rampant overconsumption.

  • Every time i listen to this i close my eyes, i think to myself, why, why does everything happen, is it for something else to happen for that to continue? why do we need our countries to wage through war, how many soldiers have been lost in all the wars that rage on through history, all the civilians who lost their lives, brothers, sons, daughters, sisters, mothers, fathers, wifes, husbands. war will rage on forever, YOU are a war against the world trying to survive, its in our DNA, it never ends

  • i was opening pistachios while listening to this and it seemed to become a dire mission that it is opened NOW.

  • Comment removed

  • @Polusviridisastrum With this song, I picture a guy going into the kitchen, opening the fridge and taking a beer out. The camera then zooms in on the beer to see a couple of drops of condensation drip down the side. All, in slow motion.

  • this music is hauntingly beautiful

  • i get goosebumps listening to this song everytime i hear it

  • awesome irish music, but how does it related to native americans?

  • @albiz007 It's not about where the music came from but the passion in the music. Watch the movie, it fits.

  • @albiz007 it is celtic music, it relates to native american music because both cultures use the pentatonic scale.

  • I am glad I am of celtic descent and not german

  • @Pvtbrex The term is coup d'etat not coup de ta. It's french. :) And coup d'etats are often referred to as a revolutions. Many do agree with you that the AR was not a revolution in the conventional sense though.

  • @dansai32 because they never made it to their gf in time XD

  • @dansai32 Because theyare from Mauguwa's tribe.

  • This song was NOT originally composed by Dougie Maclean. And the version you uploaded IS by TREVOR JONES. Maclean, like many other composers including Vivaldi, have made their interpretations using pieces that stem from a composition entitled "La Folia." There is a website which traces the origins.

  • @InBradyITrust The Gael WAS originally composed by Dougie MacLean. Yes, as said, like many others he used a bit from La Folia' which is a musical theme, but only the first couple of lines of The Gael have any resemblance to La Folia - the rest is MacLeans own composition, and it is clearly stated on the IMDB site for Last of the Mohicans that the music was originally composed by Dougie MacLean and arranged and adapted by Trevor Jones.
