@woody5598 i know i am not Hobbs, but if your gonna start wow you should start out as a class that can tank heal and dps. druids and pallies are good for that. or like me you could play a hunter, it makes the lvling experience much easier since you get a pet at lvl 1. but my first ever was a mage. as for race, that depends on the class. if your going hunter/caster you want an orc or a troll if your horde, if you go alliance, Night elf is my favorite. you can drop combat and become invisible.

@woody5598 if you go pally be human, if you go druid, i recommend Night elf also. i usually play horde, but when you are first starting out, play a Night elf, human, or dwarf as alliance, or as horde play an orc.

everyone has their own play styles, so find the class that fits you and the race that fits that class.

Dude, I've been reading recently that Blizzard have intentionally re-coded and re-positioned the mobs in azeroth so that they do not bunch together. This is going to make it harder for you to gather them up for Aoe Grinding, but it makes it harder for squishies like me to get mobbed and killed when questing, which I think was the original intention.

I would have let the mob live. Thats just who I am, I have desire to become a "badass" when in virtual worlds.
