@vglp33 Hahaha! It reminds me of the voices I did in my game. Are these guys from Leicester too? We don' qui'e pronounce trailing t's properly. I only noticed it afterwards. God, that was funny. I remember recording it all in my dad's kitchen, and his dog would be banging its tail against the radiators and throwing its toys around, daft dog. I'll have to do one of these playthroughs recordings with it. Back to this game though. I love it. I must track it down at play it.
Haha ok a blast from my past. I made the graphics and if things were different the game would be a whole lot better. It was a production nightmare and the voices were indeed terrible, as well as the animations. But still a good experience.
Yes I did the graphics. Thanks for liking it. It was however a long time ago and something that could've done much much better, but still it is nice to see it back. My new game is also on the net. Look for Brainteaser :)
AAAHHH!!! Bad voice acting is a pet peeve of mine and this game takes the cake. Graphic adventures are my favorite type of games but I just don't know if I could play through this one...
Hmm, I see what you mean about the voices. I couldn't understand the ghost at all. And the voice actor for the lady who lost the cat (I could only stand to watch the intro. And it made no sense at all.) was horrible! She sounded like she was just reading lines off a sheet. (Which, granted, she probably was but she could've at least injected SOME life into her voice.)
Why do all the characters gesticulate? Do they have something wrong with their hands?

The detective's voice is more or less bearable, but the ghost sounds so annoying, like he dropped his balls right when he died.
Other than that, the game looks quite decent, not as great as Monkey Island and such, but still good.

I'm not saying this is a bad game as i just havn't played it but thank goodness voice work isn't handled by those that make the games these days
Quite common in the Amiga days and fairly obvious it was too
It all sounds like exactly what they're doing, reading it
The actors delivery from something like Case of the cautious Condor or Sherlock are much better examples of how it should be done
I probably don't need to be saying any of this but i had a genuine interest in playing the game

I have been using a program called A.G.S.
adventure game studio,
Its now possible to make these type of games on your own using this free program.
Its still a lot of work but you dont need to know how to program any thing and you can put your own voices in as mp3 or wav etc.
its well worth searching on line for ags see for your self!

Hehe well the voice 'actors' were actually the people who released the game :)

The ending sucked. Rats from another dimension raiding a cheese store? Jeez, they were that uninventive?

Man, the dialogue and voices are ridiculously AWFUL in this game.
Open the door
"Okay. Lets open it."
*door opens*
"Wow! It opened."
Seriously, well done for completing this garbage.

Ironclaw... you are one dedicated gamer to play through this whole game, seriously! It's really bad.
BTW why's the ghost in a star trek uniform?
