  • I dunno why people don't like this game. I like it! Even with the slippery controls, it doesn't mean you can't get use to it!

and the music in the Genesis version is MOAR BADASS than the Saturn version!

Sonic 3D Blast may have not been a 3D game, it suretenly looked like it had a lot of potential going on it!

  • @JuliusTheHedgeh0g I didn't like it that much because whenever I played it I got sick in the stomach

  • 1:01 reprise of that act 1 portion of the song + added robust-ness = win++.

  • For such a maligned game, this had some pretty good f**king music. Better then most of the garbage tunes you hear in Sonic games today.

  • I use to play this game on the gamecube,i had so much fun. :D

  • 3:18 - 3:45 my favorite part :)

  • damn this brings back so many childhood memories

  • @TheOzzMonster Actually not quite. :) Act 1 is Windy Valley 3. Act 2 was actually used in Emerald Coast 2 (which SonicKAI also uploaded). Its not as direct as Act 1's remix. But its in there. If you can find EC2 its at 1:07

  • SonicDisco!

  • the first few seconds of this track sound almost exactly like the first few seconds of the first level from Ristar.

  • brb looking for Sega Genesis

  • Are there any other versions of this song?

  • from 0:00 to 0:05 it sounds like wild,cool,groovey

  • sounds a bit like emerald coast 2

  • this and windy valley are really great version's of sega's awsome music

  • Most of Act 2 Stage are Cooler song Then Act 1

  • This game is awesome It feels strange to run-of-the-mill Sonic players who just race through every zone, but for those who resist the urge to be "the fastest thing alive" and place emphasis on exploring the vast worlds the games have to offer, this game is very rewarding. Now if only there was a Super Sonic after getting the emeralds, and Tails/Knuckles were playable...

  • @keyservance Yes I agree. I think its good BECAUSE its different. Change of pace.

  • Man it was really irritating me what this reminded me of but it's the same tune as Windy Valley in Sonic Adventure 1!

    Haha wow.

  • Once upon a time I had an older cousin who used to tell me lies about video games (such as that you fought Boshi in Super Mario RPG in a battle). One of them was that Sally from the Archie Sonic comics was in this game.

Well, Chris... I managed to get to the last stage, and guess what?

    ERROR 404 SALLY NOT FOUND!!!

  • thank god for sonic mega collection

  • this song is BEAST!!!!!!so much better than act 1

  • :))

  • It usually takes me forever just to finish an stage. :/

  • Same here. It always says "Time taken: Too long!" for me

  • You know what I like best about this one? This is MUCH MUCH longer than ANY of the tunes in the ENTIRE game. There are parts of it where you think "Oh it's just repeating" but then it's still part of the same "loop". The full loop doesn't end until 4:13. Compare that to EVERY other music in the game (level wise), where NONE of them even reach 2 minutes. This is more than twice as long as ANY of them.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Wow, I never even noticed how long this song is. That's actually really cool. :)

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Wow. I never realized that but you are absolutely right.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 I completely agree. I remember listening to this years back. And suddenly when it gets to the new bridge section at 3:17 out of nowhere, I distinctly remember going "err... o.o" Such a great tune, one of my favourites from the Mega Drive collection. In fact, this game in itself has some of the best sonic music out there, people should expose themselves to it more.

  • @Baleoce I had the same reaction! :) I always thought it was just the usual Sonic 50 second loop but then...wait a minute. Jun let the tape recorder go on this one :)

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Even better considering that while Green Grove 1 was the "tutorial" level difficulty, Green Grove 2 was the large exploratory level for getting used to the game's ways and breaking the player in effectively. You'll definitely go through the entire song on your first play through of act 2

  • 1:30 jammin!!!

  • it would of lost interest in this game real fast if the music wasnt so awesome

  • 9/10

still as good as act 1's but it has a different bassline.

I really like the buildup that is presented at 1:30. it has that effect when you take a portion out of a song but can hear all the core parts.

    all in all. pretty cool.

  • This is even better than the first version of Green Grove. Green Grove 2 takes four minutes until it repeats, and again has that twanging bass guitar in it with a more disco beat style. Very retro 1970's sounding instrumental music!

  • The bassline's different in Act 2. It gives it a different feel in Act 2.

  • i love this fucking game!!

  • I love this frickin song. The part that starts at 0:35 is definitely the best.

  • I like Act 2's music better than Act 1's.

  • Yup, it's more dynamic.

  • I believe this song was remix in SA1 for Windy Valley. I love this track ^_^

  • It sure was and its Hella good! :D.

  • technically it was act 1, but you're close :D

    i love this song; *x5 :3

  • @XShadowKaiserX nah SA1 got it from here lol

  • I owned this game and hey I liked it!

  • this song is also in sonic adventure on windy valley

  • And i thought i was the only person that owned this game...

  • i own it. the original and the mega collection one!
