Squirrels are classified as herbivores, granivores and frugivores. Meat is not appropriate for them at all.

Also, you assume all humans eat meat. Not all do.

Firstly, nowhere in that comment did I say all humans eat meat. How on earth did you come to that conclusion?

Secondly, why is it not appropriate? Just because we have classified them as herbivores, granivores and frugivores, doesn't mean to say that meat is not appropriate for them.

Actually that's a common misconception. Squirrels are Omnivores. Though meat is not a primary source of sustinence to squirrels they can and will eat it if they choose, they have been observed eating meat rather frequently in the wild. "Also, you assume all humans eat meat. Not all do" Also you are making the assumption that squirrels only eat plants, not all do.
