What a shame.... the only known film clip of Grant Green...we went to the moon in 1969...he died in early 80's...or late 70's....!! there are more films of Elvis from 50's and on to fill a room....!!!
@loupgaroukid yes - from Ronnie Scott's jazz club in London in 1969 - I also picked up on this info & the fact that it is available on a video called "Legends of Jazz Guitar, Vol. 2" - available through Music Sales Limited (OV 11320) [ ??]
Yeah, so often when you get three or four (or more!!) guitarists on stage together it gets messy as they try to out do each other in an ego trip that leaves the music and ENTERTAINING the audience behind but with these three it's more like the classic sax and trumpet lead lines that fit hand in glove together. Mutual respect for the other guys' abilities leads to a better set.
