i can't connect my vista laptop to my xp laptop when i reached to the log in screen and then when i type the user and the password then press connect a box pops out and tells me unable to log you on due to account restrictions any suggestions i really need to connect

from "A" you type in comp "B"'s info.

if you have password in "B" then you have to put that password to get in to that!

u guys should use team viewer. its the best one out there. look for the video on youtube and follow tutorial. its easy. (note) only use this for personal use.. meaning computers on your network ONLY, not ur friends

If you aren't connected to a network then you have to type in an ip address. Google "ping ip" several websites are available to show your computer's ip address. You need the ip of the computer you are connecting too. The login process is the same.

The username and password is of the computer you are going to control. So if I am on computer A and I wish to control computer B then I need a username and password of computer B. Basically I'm logging into the other computer.
