ok first captains suck fact. Second special characters rule especially in the BA codex Iv taken mphiston and ripped right through two plague marine squads and a demon prince all in one game all by him self. Iv had dante and his unit of sang guard(with chapter banner)walked up to Belial the Interrogator and his ten man termy squad and killed them all in one swoop!!!! I could go on all day about how special characters have saved my butt

The BA codex says that Librarians only get 2 wounds as well dude.

I don't include special characters because i dislike special characters they give a reason not to take the time to not give a loving care into force commander A. also This is my opinions. and another thing i've seen many many blood angels players and I've played blood angels if you take a special character or a honour guard those guys are a point sink more then a help and will be blown out of the sky before earning points back

Specil Characters for BA are very important, Lemartes costs 5 more points then a chappy with a jump pack, yet he has 3 wounds, making him better, which the jump pack would be the only reason to go with the DC. Then theres Dante, who makes all chappys worthless because preffered enemy re-rolls hits in cc with evry friendly unit iswithin 12 inches of him. The theres mephiston, who I use in 1000+ games, even at those points he makes up for his points and beyond. DC are more of a point sink the HG

Ok here is where your wrong again, trust me I am a BA player, Honour Guards rock, believe it or not they can be very shooty, 2plasma guns and 2 plasma pistols and there goes 6 plasma shots. Or cc, tech adept, company champ, 2 power weapons, thats with the new rules 20 power weapons attacks on the charge. I think you made a BIG mistake in not including specil characters.

The effectiveness of units depends on the area but that doesn't change the fact my lists and armies aren't the "best" for example I'm going to be fielding Ratlings I mean its my play style that is what makes me prefer things over others so your opinions may differ and I love to hear others opinions so I can see the different play styles

Lemartes-Cheap enough, but if have the points take Dante because of the New Preffered enemy rules.

Plamsa Pistols are not much worth it, they would only shoot once or rarely. Like I said you should have included the Specil Characters, they make the other ones pretty much worthless. Mephiston, regardless has perfromed the best in my army, better then Death Company. Captain sucks, take the other ones. Librarains, why not termi armour, thats flying

you arent the only one. We Blood Angles players always seem to get the shaft. Am i the only one who feels they took a LOT of the flavor out of the army, by doing away with the black rage rules and stuff?

they seem to favor the ultramarines, darkangels, and black templars in that order more than the blood angels or the space wolves (my two favorite chapters)

Question for you... Is 5th ed. rules going to make blood angels obsolete? I heard that the BA codex will not be honored in 5th ed. Have you heard this?

I have heard from a site that the current blood angels codex is the 5th edition but thats from rumors and what not
