I missed the prime T-Rex by a few years, but purchased Zinc Alloy on vinyl in 1989. Played this album over and over during the winter of that year and early into 1990. It is a great album and I can't understand how it isn't considered among his best. Very underrated album.

sorry to be controversial but i loved Gloria's influence on Marc and the whole soul sound he had in the mid 70's.I still havent heard anything it like it since.

Das Zinc Alloy Album war für 1974 seiner Zeit sehr voraus. Der ganze T.REX Sound, klang viel voller und mehr Kraft. So hätte sich die Musik anhören können in der heutigen Zeit, wenn Marc Bolan noch leben würde.

Doch leider ist er viel zu früh von uns gegangen.

no i dissagree,gloria had a fantastic voice,the ying and yang between marc and gloria made this song,remember he wanted her voice on his songs before he loved her,i think it sounds fantastic,rock on!!!

Zinc Alloy is an essential album if you don't already have it and are a fan. Of course his other "must have" albums are Electric Warrior and The Slider!
