Just discovered a few minutes ago that this song was #1 for one week, the week ending June 13, 1987. Yes, the day I married my college sweetheart. I am thinking now that we should have had it worked somewhere into our wedding. Well, maybe it's good we didn't. As you see, 13 years and 3 small children into our marriage she met someone on the internet and filed for divorce out of the blue. That was quite a summer. Oh well, so much for "Always". Hearing it now does take me back to 1987.
