  • epic!

  • The reason why they add a love story is because they want it to be appealing to female audiences when couples watch it.

  • The first part is what keeps me coming to school in the morning \(^-^)/

  • I dont know why people hate this movie. its my all time favorite movie.

  • @TheMysticCrunch Because the movie didn't really pay tribute to Pearl Harbor and its tragic events, Everyone thought that the movie was just going to be about Pearl Harbor and not a Love movie. Thats why people cant see that it was really a good movie and i LOVED it =]

  • I cant see the problem with this movie other than it is beginning to look dated! a great love story, action and some life lessons for us all to take on board. Not to mention a killer soundtrack

  • This movie was horribly inaccurate, (which pissed me off) But I would watch it for just the music and Earl.

  • @ZekeTheKamikaz pearl harbour did get bombed, america did attack back with the doo little raid the planes that were used were mitchel bombers, the quotes "i fear all we have done is awoken a sleeping giant" and "would be a day that would live infamy" was used and the japanese did put wooden things on the end of there torpedoes to be able to use them in the pearl harbour shallow port. so it aint completely inaccurate it proberly 90% accurate

  • @ravesoldier11 I'm talking about how alot of it was exaggerated way too much about the details, they atleast got the simple stuff down

  • @ZekeTheKamikazi

If it was so mildly inaccurate why did you say it was horribly inaccurate. Most of the stuff was accurate. What did they exaggerate? I'm just curious.

  • Inception Main theme

  • turning a tragedy into a love story jerry pulled a titanic smh.

  • @Steelgerald - Yeah but Kate Beckinsale in Pearl Harbour beats Kate Winslet in TItanic ANYTIME!!!

  • @englishguy2010 that i will definitely agree

  • @englishguy2010 hell yeah :)

  • Is this Movie in Spanish like not subs actual sound

  • this would make groceries into an epic mission... Love it!!

  • ANSWER ME: I am looking for a certain part of the movie that had a heroic song abit like the pirates of the carribean and in the scene is close to the end of the pearl harbor scene where Ben and his brother get into there planes and save the day WHAT SONG IS THAT.

  • This is my favorite soundtrack.

  • what's the name of the song which u hear when danny and rave start to figth against the zero's after their attack on the harbor? sounds a bit like pirates of the carribean, i'm searching for this song so long but i dont find it?!

  • @Futtkopp31 its the bomers ahed corige

  • If anyoens seen the final countdown they should of got our fighters from the carrier and killed those japs we would of changed histroy yeah but for the good of the US and wouldnt of lost all those men who didnt deserve it

  • everytime i hear the part of soundtrack from 2:30 to 8:57 i kinda gets to me and kinda makes me feel like that i want to go and get in an airplane myself and kill all those bastards for what they did to US

  • Hate the love story, but the soundtrack and the early part of the attack scene.. wow.

  • If you plan on composing soundtracks some day, you have to kneel down before Hans Zimmer first ...

  • Rafe: Why the hell the Navy doing practice on a Sunday?

    Me: those aren't NAVY planes...

  • Don't yell too loud DrDerpwerth, your tin hat may fall off!

  • @DrDerpwerth youmadbro?

  • OMG so Awesome......... ... wow !!!

  • This soundtrack gives me chills! ( 0:00-1:35 )

  • GOOD

  • hans zimmer is genius.

  • Pearl Harbor, great day. The day the USA got well and truly ass fucked and beyond. Funny thing is, the US government knew about the attack long before it happened. They just needed a ticket into the war with public support.

  • @DrDerpwerth no we didnt. and we got those stupid Nip bastards back ten fold.

  • @A10fighter95 Yes the US government knew the attack was going to happen before it did. It's an established fact, go read about it you stupid cunt. Stop letting CNN and hollywood movies do your thinking for you.

  • @DrDerpwerth listen you stupid fuck they were discussing peace with us and attacked us because we didn't give them oil

  • @A10fighter95 watch?v=GtkLE3vj99c

    watch?v=r4Y0A7-1ykA

    Fuck you...retard.

  • @DrDerpwerth There is some question as to how much the US government knew, but the general consensus is that, while they had a degree of knowledge that something was going to happen, they didn't know where or when.

  • @David291 They wanted public backing for a war that nobody wanted to be in. The only way to get public support is if the US is attacked, 9/11 being another perfect example.

  • @DrDerpwerth You are such a communist aren't you?

  • @MinerrariaGuys No, but you are a dumb ass.

  • @DrDerpwerth The US never wanted to get into this war... Yes, we knew the attack was going to happen, but we didn't know where. We would have stopped the attack had we known where the Japanese were going to attack...

  • @MinerrariaGuys You don't know shit. Stop responding to me now you dumb ass.

  • @DrDerpwerth Your so called "video proof" doesn't prove shit, you have your opinions KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF, shitbag

  • @MinerrariaGuys Ignorance is bliss. Keep crying faggot.

  • @DrDerpwerth What the hell does that even mean?!

  • @MinerrariaGuys Look it up, dumb ass.

  • @MinerrariaGuys Yes you did!! You don't know of the operation where the US was already planning to attack Japan? You just wanted Japan to attack first!!!

  • @AkinaTheKitty Did they? I didn't know they were alive and in the military in the 40's. Impressive.

  • what is the name of the song when rafe & danny gets airbourne after defeating the japs then going to pearl harbor?

  • Tomorow ( in France ) , 1941-2011 : 70 years of this tragedy.

    RIP, brave soldiers :')

  • Hanz Zimmer is the best composer for action music...

  • Oh, and you can hear it at about 0:25

  • Hey guys, can I ask a question? You know that in music with 'Asian' themes there is always a sharp, hollow wind instrument playing? Does anyone know what that is?

  • @LordDarthVader5 its called called a roncadora the other is a tsungi horn

  • @RicardoBorboa

    Very funny! XD

I watched A:TLA so I know what a Tsungi Horn is, but I actually searched for the Roncadora to see what it was. (Wanted to see the FAILery) ^_^

Anyway, I already got the answers I wanted from elsewhere, so, you can't fool me! :P

  • @LordDarthVader5 lol well the tsungi horn is similar to the horn played here now the roncadora is a wind instrument that has multiple cylinders sounds like a lazy ocarina lol

  • The music for this piece of shit movie was about it. This was one of the absolute WORST movies I've ever seen. I can't believe I actually paid cash money to see it when it opened. It sucked. I found myself actually rooting for the Japanese during this awful travesty that didn't even have much in the way of entertainment value to recomend it. To me, Tora Tora Tora was and remains the BEST movie ever made about Pearl Harbor. Agree or disagree, I care not. The movie's a piece of shit.

  • pearl harbor was a joke its an inside job made by the us government just like 9/11

  • after 1:35 next Ost what is the title when bombers entering the city?

  • THEYVE AWAKEN THE SLEEPING GIANT......USA

  • does any one know the name of the flute and the articulation used at 0:38 ?

  • The film was shit

    The music the hit

  • Best part

    0:25-1:35

ČEST A SLÁVA VOJÁKŮM PADLÝCH V BOJI PROTI FAŠISMU

  • Tudle písen si ještě pustíme když budem vzpomínat na boje které svede ješte naše generace :( buh žehnej historii,přítomností a mnoho let v míru budoucností :(

  • This movie makes me think of my brother who past a way back in January of 2002. He loved hearing the soundtrack of this movie before he past away. We played this music at his funeral. Sad day.

  • Hanz Zimmer is BEAST!!!

  • We have such History, togheter,me and you, people! I suffer because many people gave their lives, but I'm happy because without them,we wouldn't have history,we wouldn't remember their names, their courage. We wouldn't be here to make history for our descendents. May the ones who died rest in peace, may God bless the ones who lived to tell their descendents what they have seen, brave people that volunteered for saving their countries..I'm a Romanian, but I love all the countries,no matter what.<3HISTORY

  • @AdinaJackson exactly what has happened at that time has us taken there where we are today <3HISTORY

  • 1:01

  • why are u guys debating something so intensely that happened 60 or so years ago cmon what happened happened lets just appreciate the hisory and ;earn from the shit of the past

  • after 4:20, it just gets sadder and sadder, especially starting from 6:22, where it was the scene where the ship mechanics are stuck in the ship and drowned :(

  • poor dory miller the orderly was never decorated with the medal that showed the heights of rcisism in US tat time,,the movie showed false i swa the documentary on national geographic he was not conferrd any medals,,

  • @183night Still, they had to wait six days for a reply. Now I agree that it was insanely stupid to drop on an urban area of civilian populations. That to me is murder. If it had been on Military ground, then its fine. And they decided to not drop it on the royal palace, due to the the extreme aftermath of a leaderless and pissed off army. Hitler did try to make Germany more powerful than the US...that was his campaign. And he didn't start the war, the Allies did. They responded critically to >>

  • poor dory miller the orderly was never decorated with the medal that showed the heights of rcisism in US tat time,,

  • @183night >>promised. The Japanese killed Marines. Navy Seals weren't around then. And the Japanese also killed women. The Pearl Harbour attack was designed to cripple the US Military. So they would destroy ships, and ALL Military personnel, which included female nurses. As extreme as it was, the US had to kill children because a majority of them would have been brainwashed to despise the US.

  • i respect your war knowledge adn ur comments make me feel u r well aware, still US had enpugh power to cripple a small country like japan the use of ultimate weapon could have been avoided,it could have been dropped on ine island to send fear among them rather than killing innocents, and HITLER for his lust plunged a beautiful country in to war,,he could have chaneelised his power to make europe much more stornger than US and could have made germany like US today the international policeman,,,

  • @183night The US decided to use the atom bomb to avoid deploying soldiers directly into Japan. There would have been a gigantic slaughter if they had decided on that choice. Not saying the atom bomb wasn't slaughter, but the death toll could have been much worse. The US was making threats against Japan to drop it. Japan disregarded these so the US had no choice but to drop it. They waited for Japan's decision to surrender after Hiroshima, but still got none, then they dropped on Nagasaki. >>

  • @183night Hitlers advances. I spent a lot of time in Germany growing up. It is a very beautiful country. Hitler's intentions I suppose were kind of supposed to be the international policemen. Maybe he'd have done a better job then the US have.

  • Comment removed

  • so you are german and a HE because of rich knowledge you have i can make that hitler annexed and destroyed othrs fredom we approched him to gain our freedom from silly british,he plunged the country in to ruins and havoc at hands of russians with women and chikdren being raped,so what did he acheive nothinh he could have used his power and mind to make germany become leader in eurpoe which british always did,i alsways admired his courage as child not his act, this theme makes me cry every time,,

  • @183night Um...I can barely understand what your saying. I'm Hungarian and German. Hollywood War movies are horrible in my opinion. Their biased and only shown from the American side. I have seen Saving Private Ryan, it wasn't that special. But Tom Hanks is a good actor.

  • the other movie i cry to is SAVING PRIVATE RYAN how 5 men sacrified their lives for saving RYAN,as i write this to you in tears about remenbering tat movie,HUMan EMOTIONS are priceless, how beautifull HOLLYWOOD can think and make movies we indians can never match them, their movies carry a message to learn for the world,,i hope you have seen SAVING PRIVATE RYAN ,TOM HANKS is a brilliant actor, only pity is why cant we fight war against our inner evils of lie, deceit, betryal and disrespect to women,

  • Hans Zimmer der Herr der Soundtracks

  • pearl harbor is a good film a mega good movie i hate the japanese

  • @acmgdijkstra It's a decent action flick. But...what on earth did the entire Japanese population do to you? You know, besides inventing tons of technology, beautiful artwork, music, movies, medicine and medical knowledge, and being a peaceful nation since the end of the war?

  • @IBiteTheHandThatFed don't forget lowest crime rates

  • i agree friend for 3000 lives taking 3 million lives was insane,at least japs kiiled navy seals and soldiers but US killed the innocent people, kids, women,WAR cannot win WAR ,IT was foolidh for TOJO to become HITLER 2 ,i like HITLER for he had the guts to stand against entire world on his own but he should not have attaked pple or conquered then may be he could have become POWERFUL GANDHI,i wish he could relive in todays world,,

  • @183night Tojo didn't become "Hitler 2". If your referring to the medical experimentation and torture that went on by the japanese in China and Manchuria, that was General Hiro Ishi. I highly doubt Hitler would have become a Gandhi-esque person. He had the guts to conquer everything because Germany (before 1920) used to make up a majority of Europe. The Treaty of Versailles cut up all of the old land. Hitler promised his people to get those lands back. And he did. He was simply doing what he >>

  • @acmgdijkstra america at the time would of hated the japanese because they attacked pearl harbor but they did it for a reason, they were denied their fuel and japan had no resources. so they attacked.

if america had no resources and they were denied fuel, they would do the same thing

  • @KanaCanaful The US wouldn't have had a reason to shut down all the fuel if they had not been attacking one of their allies. It was a good move for the US at the time, I mean, once all of the US allies were gone, the axis power would come for them next. Either way, they were going to be hit. But the mature thing was that we had settled the past and now we are alright with one another. For Acmgdijksta- do not hate this generation of japensese for their great grandparent's actions. :3

  • The Japanese are preparing to go to war against the three people who disliked this page.

  • @shadowofdeath1687 The Japanese will win don't worry :)

  • o my gosh this song so sooooo amazing

  • it is my mission, and duty to do this, for my family and my honor. It is time to face it. Before sunrise today, i shall accomplish my priority. I do it with pride, I am going to ask a girl out.

  • Pearl Harbor was a good movie hampered by a terrible romantic sub plot. That being said, Hans Zimmer is one of the two best composers alive, and he made one hell of an epic score for this movie.

  • @coolwhipspecial i agree who is the other?

  • @JeySivaNavam John Williams.

  • Anytime I hear this song, I always think of Japanese people lol. :)

  • HANS ZIMMER RULES!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2 dislikes, WTF? who da fuck doesn't like this song? i mean, u serious? Zimmer is number 1, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, The Last Samurai... and Pearl Harbor, simple some of the all-time best soundtracks...

  • EPIC 0_0

  • Very nice xD

  • Only thing about Hiroshima and Nagasaki was true Revelation and maker of peace.

  • Pearl Harbor. Auschwitz. Hiroshima. Nagasaki.

    War is Hell.

  • @starpointz Togeher and say: FUCK THE PROPAGANDA!

  • @starpointz Auschwitz has nothing to do with war, it was the politic. You can say war is a following of acts in politic and the reactions. But all this has nothing to do with this nice music.

  • @starpointz You forgot Nanqing.

  • @starpointz

    Makes one wonder...whats next?

  • @starpointz Rape of Nanjing, Firebombing of Japan

  • @starpointz agreed, but remember Stalingrad, Konotop, Leningrad, and Berlin. Remember also the WW1 battles like Verdun, the Somme, the three battles of Ypres, and Vimy Ridge. don't just remember what involved Americans or what is in the movies, but rather remember the battles just as big but are almost forgotten

  • @starpointz Iraq. Afghanistan. Libia. Countless more.

    War is Hell.

  • @starpointz Auschwitz had nothing to do with war. It was systematic eradication, not a battle against an equally equipped enemy.

  • If i saw the scene where died Americans Soldiers in Ships I could cry. They had no chance to survive :(

  • JAPAN ALL THE WAY MOTHER FUCKERS

  • @gman2114 best armament i think!! I LOVE YOU YAMATO!!!

  • Whenever I'm preparing a huge arse war in Shogun 2 Total War, I always think of this song.

  • i listen to the japanese part while playing shogun 2... fucking awesome experience..

  • After 1:36, the music really seems to emphesize an epic yet sad death. It's beautiful.

  • Great soundtrack, crap film.

  • @JinRenegade CRAP is between your legs. It was a fucked up nice movie.

  • Comment removed

  • @BIGB0SS20 A "fucked up nice movie"? Was that supposed to be a comment saying that the film was good or bad?

  • @JinRenegade :D heheh i've ment a good movie. It's fucking good movie ))) in our days it's a rarely good movie.

  • how is called this song?

  • I LOVE Hans Zimmer. Along with John Williams he is my favorite composer!

  • Hanz Zimmer and John Williams two of the best composers ever.

  • a pleasure for the ears

  • This song makes me cry so much and the movie too. Hans Zimmer makes beautiful music *_* I love it...

  • I have to say, ever song, every soundtrack or music piece Mr. Hans Zimmer creates, I feel numerous emotions, he truly is great at what he does.

  • don't like the part 8:57

  • JESUS CHRIST!

THE BEGINNING OF THIS PIECE OF MUSIC IS PURE GENIUS!

YOU CAN ALMOST FEEL THE MIGHTY WRATH OF THE RISING JAPANESE EMPIRE SPEARHEADS, TAKING OFF FROM THEIR CARRIERDECKS, INTO THE RISING SUNLIGHT, CARRYING THEIR BOMBS, THEIR BATTLECRY AND THEIR THIRST FOR BLOOD!

    ALL TRANSFORMED INTO MUSICAL NOTES!

NO TALKING ABOUT HISTORY OR POLITICS HERE!

JUST WAR IMPRESSIONS TRANSLATED INTO MUSIC!

    ZIMMER&WILLIAMS - PURE DAMN GENIUSES!

  • @2serveand2protect Fuck the nips, God bless the Allies

  • @ghilliedu25 Screw you, they had bigger balls than the allies.

  • Forever honor our fallen brethren

  • The emotion of power manifested into sound.

  • hans zimmer=THE SOUND OF THE WAR!!

  • today we honor the spirit of our country the spirit of the samurai!!!!! go with honor!!!!!!!!
