NRDC is sloppy in it's approach to Action Letters. It turns out they don't send letters but instead posts the letters as "comments" to government agencies who are required to post all comments. Those comments are posted online as pdfs with your name, address, email address and yes your phone number. This is the dirty little secret NRDC fails to tell you. So if you don't want your personal info picked up by web crawlers then don't send action letters for NRDC. If you complain NRDC stonewalls you.

@sidrahsiddiqui The Kennedy family bought Bobby Jr. out of his heroine arrest the same way they bought his uncle Teddy out of Chappaquiddick. They both should have gone to prison.

I'm with you, he is a fantastic person.
Know something? Maybe he has a jet, but, he conserves more energy by building and making his own home independent of either coal or nuclear energy sources, he educates on how to conserve and how to get away from nuclear energy and/or coal energy. Plus all the other things he does everyday for the environment, as much travel as he does, he deserves that one luxury. Don't you think? Besides he can be with his family more by doing this. Worth it, I think so
