So they put out the safety car.... AFTER the entire field, at racing speed, passes by a stationary medical car positioned just feet off the racing line. I'm a bit stunned. Why would they park at that spot in the first place?

@AstraJOM Its usual in some racing series... and no problem - Just Double Yellow in the area where the crash was and the race can continue - bcs nothing blocks the track. And later the SC comes out bcs it takes longer to clear the track i think...

Great to see the other driver concerned for his collegue. Most of the formula BMW drivers I met are very friendly guys and it shows in the clip. Pretty sure he was ok. When the parts go flying like that and you tumble round a few times, most of the energy had already been absorbed before the car comes to a halt. Bit groggy probs, but otherwise ok.
