I have this, plus "The Bridge" as free downloads. I still have my Mute Compilation C.D. with him and Daniel Miller performing live somwhere. I had "The Bridge" on both LP and cassette, classics I loved alongside early Fad Gadget, T.G., Cabaret Voltaire, etc., etc. ad nauseum. I love this grainy, gritty, old-school sound. I would shell out a pretty penny for a nicely presented reissue of some kind.
Excellent and unique Music. Should hear "the Bridge" and "4 Movements" from Thomas Leer. Absoultely recomend both. Also, there was a song from Thomas Leer in one of those Cherry Red compilations that is absolutely brilliant. I don't remember the name. Can anybody help?
@xaxaupua Business As Usual cherry red compilation 78-79??? Had a friend with a copy that Id borrow for months. Finding alot of those singles on youtube now! Leer had Private Plane on that comp. Also the Shapes, Those Naughty Lumps - but thats all my memory has. Would love to find a track listing of that comp....

Why is this track not being released on vinyl ? It´s absolut fantastic !!!!!

Why hasn't anyone ever given this a proper reissue (proper release period is more accurate)? The whole tape is incredible!

I actually saw a Robert Rental vs The Normal gig back in 1979, it was very noisy! I still have the 7" of Private Plane as well!

Lucky you who got to see them! I also have that single, as well as the elpee 'The bridge' (Leer/Rental) and other, early Robert rental singles.

And probably always will be, Kyle. He was a one-of-a-kind and a BIG influence on many of us budding electronic musicians.
