"Most of christianity was unified for the first 300 years" - Has he even studied the history of Christianity? They may not have been fighting each other but I hardly think 'unified' is the right word.

@kevinscales He is a historian, and everybody knows that the first crusade was the first time the eastern and western church were united after its division. The eastern church asked Rome to assist in their war to regain their ground lost, which was jeruslaem, and Pope Benedict saw it as a chance to reunite the church calling on the first crusade.

My "liberal professors" taught me that all religion is thoughtless nonsense that only serves to empower those who wish to commit violence against those who are different.
That goes for Islam, Christianity, etc... Christianity and Islam are about the same in terms of stupidity, intolerance, and just plain backwards ass old school uninformed thinking. Religion is bullshit.
