  • i want a fox now!

  • @foxalbiazul Thinking a fox would be a pretty good 16 birthday present since I already found a truck. Where did u pick him up at?

  • Would you be able to let a pet fox have free roam of the house when your out? Or would they totally rip up everything while your out. Or is it just a stage, like when dogs are younger?

  • @austintoebosch nuuuuuu! no, no, bad idea! Foxes are very mischievous, and should only be indoors under close supervision... unless you have like one particular room closed off for him/her... and ideally have a pet door to the outdoor cage in that room's exterior wall.

  • He's a cutie. I'm glad you r keeping him safe!

  • Why would he wanna suck your thumb...???

  • It seems you annoying the fox with your fingers ..

  • Wow. I didn't know foxes could make any noise. Huh. You learn soemthing new everyday. The little noises he makes is so adorable. =)

  • I now what a fucking fox!!! I shal name it Zulu

  • AWWWWW this is so cute =3

  • he is so beautiful its amazing he doesnt find the camera a threat? i would love a fox they are my fav animals aspeically arctic foxes there are so many lucky people in the world

  • How are they as pets? I want a white artic one so bad! I heard they are like a cross between a cat and a dog. They climb trees and use litter boxes?

  • ugh is that piss & poo everywhere? Can't be healthy for the fox to be in there even if he is very cute.

  • This is so cute, it actually made me cry!!!!!!

  • He's obviously so happy! :D Also, listen carefully at 1:20 ... :D (I'm a biologist)

  • @FinleyPedrina92 Is that a natural sounds foxes make? Because he sounds like he's in pain or do they just similar to dogs in pain when foxes are quite happy?

  • so, would a fox attack you if u had it as a pet?

  • @anthony15601 A fox will bite, more than a dog typically does, in play and also in self defense. Foxes are more moody and much more food aggressive than dogs, and hate to be held or restrained in general. Any of these circumstances can result in a nasty bite, but it's not "turning" on you... it's merely Cause and Effect... it's self defense when the fox feels threatened. After said bite, the fox is still just as affectionate in greeting you and happy to see you.

  • What the hell did you do to it at 2:26? It's not a toy.

  • i want a fox so badly.where do u get 1

  • so I'm curious, have you tried housebreaking Ron? You know, either by setting up a litter box (like cats) or teaching it to do its business outside (like dogs)?

  • @edwlee78

Ron used to live indoors only, but was very messy and destructive. He did use a litter box, but only 70-80% of the time. Foxes will always mark as they have a very strong territorial marking instinct it seems.

  • @foxalbiazul Can you not get the scent gland removed? Totally different animal, I know, but my cousin had a skunk which was descented...or are the foxes spraying urine? I do know they have a scent gland...which I'm told doesn't actually smell terrible (but I could be wrong here). Also - will he jump up in your lap and sleep there? Does he sleep in bed with you like a dog?

  • jeez, i had no idea that foxes made so many noises. they really are adoreable little critters.

  • i wonder if i could get the fox not to dig everything up and what not if i were to get it extremely young

  • oh my god I'm dying to have a little fox but where can u find them??

  • @smiling0wolves dont you dare take one from the wild, it's dangerous and rude. get one from a breeder. i strongly suggest you get do your homework and KNOW that you can care for it. think it through because it's a great responsibility to care for exotic animals. so please, PLEASE know that foxes take ALOT of love and care as pets. and when you KNOW that you are ready for a fox as a pet, check out tiny tracks exotic animals. they breed beautiful foxes and other exotic animals as pets.

  • @smiling0wolves ALSO! you MUST check your states exotic animal laws. don't look online for the laws, go strait to animal control or shelters and they can tell you what you want to know or tell you who to contact for that information. I'm almost sure you'll need a permit to own one. Be sure to get ALL permits required as well as locate a vet that KNOWS how to treat foxes. The vet is the most important to find. be ready to shell out big bucks for your fox's health. please be a responsible owner.

  • I thought there was a baby crying in the background, didnt realise it was the fox!

  • don't walk him on his collar get a harness for his body so you dont pull / yank on his neck it's too delicate. he's adorable

  • @XforeverlongingX

Since he now lives in his large outdoor habitat, I no longer walk him... a harness was never an option since he even chewed off the collars I've given him!

  • i live in scotland, glasgow and was wondering if i could get a fox as a pet how did u get yours? :)

  • This is just beautiful, i love foxes their so damn cute but my cat will do just fine eventhough its so lazy XD

  • Even tigers, panthers and lions, There not dangerous, only the ones in the wild are.

If you were born raised and lived in the wild, wouldn't you have a killing instinct?

  • I don't understand why people are so afraid to legalize keeping pets like foxs, coyotes, wolf's.

Fuck what they say about " It's in there blood to be angry" If there born from birth adn raised with humans, there would be no need to fear any of them, Only if you piss them off ofcourse, and this goes with any type of creature. You're own dog can turn on you.

It's all about favoritism from the fucking goverment, nothing more nothing less.

I want a fucking monkey. unfortunely its ilegaland a wolf....

  • I'm in the market to adopt a red fox. Found a breeder but my state they're illegal so I have to wait till I move again. I have a coy dog already but he needs a friend

  • well he definately wagged his tail, maybe he thinks he's a dog. It has been scientifically proven that with a few generations foxes can make good affectionate pets, so I see no reason why this captive bred hand raised fox wouldn't be. Putting his ears back is actually a sign of submission (this isn't a bad way, it is just his way of saying he knows you are in charge) if he was feeling threatened he would have bitten you and have to say he looks really content.

  • He seems really skinny/small for a fox...

  • @lmathias6

that's because this is his summer coat... you are more familiar with pictures and videos of foxes in their winter coats... when they are so fuzzy poofy they look fat xD

  • That little face! <3

  • Oh cool I've been planning on buying a fox but I know wild foxes eat rabbits and such but what do they eat as pets?

  • Is it meowing?

  • THIS IS MY 2ND FAVORITE ANIMAL!!!

  • does he bite?

  • I think I speak for all of us when I say; DAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

  • @shiverius333

I second and third this! soooo cuuuuute

  • <:''3 did he just pee for happiness?

  • no, ron ron does not want to suck on your thumb...

  • @lilkoolaidbro ....

  • Good Gawds he's just so friggin' CUTE! I can't stop watching him...!

  • Awww I want a fox!!!

  • My Grandparents used to keep a red fox. It was given to them by a farmer, who found Fox Hunters who had tresspassed and destroyed the den, killing the mother. The young fox woudn't have survived of course on its own. It was never really trainable but did play and got along well with the pet dogs. It also was an escape artist, having an urge for the wild, but lived a long time.

  • I love foxes

  • slyfoxhound 4 the win!

  • Is it legal to have a pet fox in Canada ? Do you know ? :P

  • Bitey bitey bitey! My cats do that too......just the way they play! He is too cute!!

  • nuggle-snugge-snuggle =] I <3 Foxes!

  • Foxes are cool but corgis are better.

  • he is possibly the cutest fox i have ever seen!

  • The fact that there is a whole room of the house specially barracked off for the fox should tell you all something. This is a wild opportunistic scavenger. It will tear your house into pieces during an 8 hour work shift. Look at the walls in that room. If you ever got mice in your walls with a fox shut in the house you would come home to $5,000 in remodelling work, for beginners.

Probably better off setting a monkey loose in your house.

  • @MilhausMN

very true, hence my personal experience shows how important it is for every fox owner to have a good size outdoor pen/habitat where they can dig in real dirt, chase insects and devour small trees!

  • @MilhausMN BUT HE'S SO CUTE

  • @XxD34THD3MONxX

    sorry, strictly illegal in Georgia.

  • does new york allow have pet fox??

  • Are they very aggressive? Or will they come up to you and lie down and let you pet them?

  • So cute!!! I want one! :D

  • What do you feed your fox

  • Are pet foxes allowed in Louisiana?

  • Such a gorgeous animal!!! :-)

  • how much was he and where can get a fox like that. please tel me!

  • @TheLiamclink

a USA raised pet fox costs around $500; you can most likely find one in your state, if your state allows pet foxes. More important than where you get one, is preparing your house/yard for a pet fox... from my personaly experience, you MUST build/have built a large habitat specially fox escape-proof.

  • @foxalbiazul ok thanks

  • Looks like a young german shepherd.

  • @straightcleaner Not at all.

  • @ 51:00. SO INNOCENT CAN'T... I DIEZ OF CUTENESS.

  • We had a pet fox called Jackie, he used to love those caramel chocolate buttons. There was 3 of us kids and he was the best thing we ever had. It certainly was a great experience

  • im pretty sure in WV you need a permit because my (not anymore) homeroom teacher said so

  • your floor looks totally fucked up

  • @bloodykizzy

the dust you see stuck on the floor is from the big litter box he used when he was in this room... it was a temporary living area, until I moved him into his large outdoor habitat, and also built a pet door accessible living room cage with ceramic tile floor... as you can see, wood flooring and foxes don't mix!

  • could you have a fox in washington?? (the state, not D.C.) im moving to forks.. will i need any permits and things like that? please and thank youuu

  • @Gaarastruestluv

sorry, no pet foxes in WA.. the entire West coast bans pet foxes now.

  • @foxalbiazul Red foxes, but i think the smaller Fennec fox is still okay.

  • Hey. How is he now he's grown, is he still tame or has he gone more wild?

  • @tool2342

He has doubtlessly become calmer and more docile as he is getting older! He was most 'wild' when I first got him at 6 weeks old, back when he would not even let me touch him!

A bond of this sort lasts a lifetime... though a fox will always be his mischievous, silly, moody self. <3

  • @foxalbiazul I'd love one. I have been toying with the idea of adopting one of the Domesticated Silver Foxes from Russia. I have been in contact with the woman who runs the program. The next ones available will be around next August, and they coast $1500, with an extra $1000 for all to vet docs, and travelling etc. But I don't think anyone in the UK owns one yet...

  • @tool2342

the minimum cost through SibFox in the USA is like 6000 dollars though...

  • @foxalbiazul Really? Well they are only $1500 from the breeder, so if you did it yourself, the only extras you'd pay would be documents and travel etc - they told me this was around $1000. That company is just a business, I guess they need to make a profit, so charge $6000, but with that, I suppose they do all the work for you...

  • how was it tammed to show affection to you like any old dog? normally foxes are scared and run away form humans

  • @gamerguy425

you raise a kit from very young, and that's how you form this sort of special bond with them! They will bond with more people and be more sociable if raised around many persons... I live alone, so Ron never socialized with others other than me really.

  • He is just like a dog :) And soo cute.

  • Does he bark? lol

  • Your floor is very dirty considering all those marks.

  • @SpyroTheDragon1267

which is why the indoor area he has NOW, has a ceramic tile floor that I installed myself... and he has his large outdoor habitat with real dirt <3

  • there's nothing wrong with domestication as long as they are accessible to a good health, physical activity, good state of mind, and affection. Don't forget humans, dogs and cats used to live in the wild.

  • this video shows that the fox is truly content

its really great, the fox accepted you , it even wanted to feed you :D

    animals are awesome

  • Very cute. I'm curious, is he ever vocal? I used to live in a rural area with a lot of foxes and the cry of a red fox is quite chilling in my opinion. I'm not sure I could get used to it if I had a pet fox that called a lot.

  • @sweeperchick

Ron is very quiet, and hardly makes noises, other than soft cute little foxy sounds, unless you try to take food away or make him scared or angry, he will gekker alot, but that isn't a loud sound. Ron has never made the screams or cries you refer to... those calls to my understanding are used to communicate between foxes in the wild, while Ron has not had contact with wild foxes.

  • @foxalbiazul Makes sense. He sure is cute :)

  • Anyone else notice the baby crying in the background? *lolfoxtimeIGNORE*

  • @mmandafrank

I am single, no baby anywhere near here... you are hearing fox sounds!

  • Awww Ronron is the cutest little pet fox ever.. I just hope all this youtube fame doesn't go to his fluffy little head ^^

  • omg its so like a cat and yet its a dog i'm so confused

  • does it hurt when he bites you!?

  • @thecrazy1jmc

It sure used to! But I've now finally got him trained to play more gently. Though what you see in this particular video does not hurt at all... he is just barely holding my fingers here.

  • He's so cute!

  • When you stuck your finger in his mouth, what are you doing?! He has a taste for human flesh now! jk

  • haha. it was so funny when you were like "right Ron-Ron?", he made this face like (-__-) lol. he is so cute

  • Your fox looks very happy... I would love a fox as a pet. how did you get one?

  • Hey, you got a real beautiful fox there. I've seen a couple of your videos some months back, but what made you decide to want to own a tamed fox? I can tell in this video that he's showing all kinds of affection to you and I'm rather fond of foxes myself.

  • He's adorable xD I wish I had one, but then again, it's better not. Is it hard to train/tame him? ^_^ He really seems to love you, it's adorable <3 He goes out, now?

  • is that the fox whining or a baby crying?

  • Does he answer to your name when you call him? or is he like a cat?

  • @Jumpfuk

He never comes when called xD very catlike in that sense.

  • My concern is once you grow tired of his annoying little whine you may stop caring for this beautiful animal. It will be incapable of fending for itself in the wild, since you have chosen to make efforts domesticate it. I hope you are consistent with caring for this animal as it obviously has no other choice at this point.

  • @lidlaw

    .... o.o

I've had him for over 3 years, and I spent fairly close to 2 thousand dollars building his specially designed outdoor habitat.... fyi

  • @foxalbiazul as well as let him straight up trash a big room in his house! haha

  • @foxalbiazul Hey don't forget every idiot on the internet is an expert, even if they've never touched a fox in their lives...

  • haha, when you first came in, did he actually grab a mouthful of food and throw it on the floor? xD

  • @xxagoraphobic

yep! he does that very often!!!

  • @foxalbiazul hahaha, do you think it's like a submissive thing, like an offering? it's a nuisance, but, adorable. ^^

  • Omg that's so cool! I want a Domesticated Fox for a pet!

  • id been very curious about a fox on our land, He doesnt seem afraid of me at all (in fact more then a large handful of times id been able to walk right up on him within 10 feet), the dogs dont even seem to mind him at all. very pretty and been here for a long time. (not that i care to try to tame him, but it is a curious thing.)

  • @staticminded If you do Ever try to Tame You must figure out if your state alow's foxes as pets without a license

But mostly You should not tame you can get them at a exotic animal shop

  • shit never mind just explained that noise

  • does anyone else hear a baby crying?!?!?!?!

  • does he just eat normal dog food like kibble and wet canned food or does he have a ''Special fox'' diet?

  • Does it hurt when (s)he puts your finger in his mouth?

  • @TheNightExcessive

Not most of the time... he used to bite down harder, but I've taught him to be more gentle xD

  • Such a happy fox =p

  • Cute little fella

  • fox acts like dogs hahah thats cool

  • He is an affectionate one, isn't he? ^w^

  • It's very true. Foxes tail swishing and ears back is a sign of either agression or happiness. Same with dogs. If a dog's tail is wagging, don't assume it's friendly D;

  • My old dog used to put her front leg/paw on top of my arm when I pet her too! Great video.

  • Hahahaha wanna suck on my thumb?! XD haha what's with that part?

  • @TheExorsists

the way he grabs and holds my fingers or my hand in his mouth reminds of a baby using a pacifier!

  • so cute love your vids

  • Awwwwiiie <3

    Thats one fanastic mr.fox ^^ <3

  • hey, your baby needs some love...

  • he's soooo adorable

  • awww look how happy and playful he is! Thinking about getting him a little girlfriend??? hahaha :)

  • my dog does this same shit...

  • is that a baby or the fox?

  • fuck that doesnt likes this video

  • munchy munchy

  • Oh, yeah...That fox is TERRIBLY abused...That's why he stays as close to his human as he can...Come on, you idjits, GET A LIFE...I'd have a fox in a New York minute if I could...

  • @Obliexis

He gets all emotional when I come home xD But after greeting me for several minutes, he runs off to continue his exploration/guard duty of his outdoor yard xD See the video on my profile for outdoor footage.

  • dude people are haters..this fox is rad as shit.

  • he looks too thin.

  • @ilargitxo2

What people don't realize, is how small and tiny fox really ARE! They are so poofy and fluffy in the winter, that when they shed their winter coat, they are sooo skinny without all the fuzz!!

  • @foxalbiazul You love and care for him thats awsome! your not some abusive prick and its clear that you are found of your pet. Did your fox chew up that room?

  • @wolf324

lol, yeah. Ron is from a professional pet breeder; foxes have been captive bred and hand raised for many generations.

Yes, what you see in this room is the reason he now lives in caged-only areas... a large outdoor pen, and a small air conditioned plexiglas cage in my living room.

  • hi!! I just love foxes and I plan to have my own as soon as possible but, I don't know what I would do to train them, feed, ect

so if you made tutorial videos, tips, and all that good stuff, plz look in to doing that :)

and excuse the name this is my friends profile.

  • @BootyClapper24

    I need to someday ^^

  • @BootyClapper24 i agree,

i to am planning to get a fox of my own

  • I must say, thats pretty cool. But theyre mean here so we shoot them. :D

  • are foxes legal in new hampshire?

  • @RoxasGirl14

    don't know for sure...

  • @RoxasGirl14 if not u can take a permit

  • does anyone else get creeped out by the guy's voice?

  • @anyoungs

me!... no wait, that's my voice! :o

Don't you know that dogs and foxes, etc interpret high pitched voices as praise and excitement, but lower pitched voices as disapproval and fear inducing?

  • @foxalbiazul my voice is deep so i think dogs hate me.....

  • aaaaawwwww thats a happy foxy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think Foxes are adorable. They have the cute orange fur and cute black legs and paws and ears and tails. They look so stylish! Buy your a fox a metal helmet with a speaker phone on it and call him Commander Fox like from star fox.

  • Nom Nom Nom Nom munchy munchy!

  • He is so beautiful. I really would love a pet red fox. But, I can't handle a fox. xD

  • ron: *bites camera* NOMZ! XD

  • @Gail419 You're kidding right? Just because you watched something on animal planet doesn't make you an expert on animal behaviorism. And of course you show up and hoot and holler about how "mistreated" this poor fox is (news flash, he isn't. if he had a merely submissive attitude rather then a friendly one, he wouldn't allow the man to rub his stomach). Why don't you go take this next door to any of the neighbors that I'm sure you have that bought a dog and treat it with true neglect?

  • @Gail419

He has free roam of a zoo-habitat size outdoor pen that is larger than my entire house, and pet door access 24/7 to an air conditioned area of his own in my living room.

Pet foxes have been bred for decades for tameness, and even Nat. Geo, did a major article on the most advanced fox breeders, in their March 2011 issue...

Nice existence, huh... lashing out at people on the internet, making unfounded accusations and ranting like prick... enjoy your life...

  • @foxalbiazul

Try to ignore comments like that. Most people fail to remember that all of the pets that we have today were all wild animals before they were domesticated. For example, all dogs started off as wolves. Bunnies are wild. Etc. What separates wild animals from domestic animals are only really their environment and their behavior.

Btw...Ron is adorable! It's great that he makes such a great companion.

  • @foxalbiazul you tell him dude! If any animal is domesticated within the first year of life, they will make great pets and will do fine in captivity. any domesticated canine, including foxes, wag there tail and get a "Smile" when they are happy and adore attention. you are an intelligent breeder my friend.
