I watched the video again after I received your email. I'm a huge King Crimson fan and know that mug anywhere. He isn't in the video; however this is definitely the studio version of the song. So I am guessing the musicians aren't playing their instruments and Bowie's lip synching. Because those are certainly Fripp's amazing guitar riffs heard in the video.
