@mortella23 Cheng Fei stepped out, so did Kozich and Dos Santo...Ponor actually got the highest score in qualifing for the final, so was the favourite. It think the sad thing is that Ponor, Cheng Fei and Alicia Sacramone were all capable of winning the AA if they did bars, it would have made an interesting quad.
To me this is much more perfect than many of the 10's that have been handed out in the past. A freaking triple as a dismount and she still doesn't cross her legs. I'd say almost every elite who OPENS with a triple crosses her legs somewhat. All the tumbling and dance difficult and without a single error, not even a tiny form break. Super-artistic, never a flexed foot in sight, never a gap between the legs, so well suited to the music, if this was performed before 1992 it would have received a 10

@CopGymnast861 no she is 32 now and no longer a virgin. my friend fucked her and he has a 9inch thick cock and she cried but he got it in and tore her up
@yngtxtopbear wow of all the gymnasts who looked like they were 10 you chose cheng fei?? She was perfectly believable to be 16 here (for a gymnast). I could show you like 10 gymnasts who looked like they were 10 when they were seniors
@nicki446 my comment was a response to someone who said "I think that the meet was called "perfect 10" ". And the routine did not get a perfect 10. the last perfect 10 in history was Milo in 1992. but maybe the perfect 10 is just a reference to how good the poster thought it was.
i am kind of confused about the 10.0's because i have seen alot of gymnast get them , this might not make any sense to some people but, how do you know which gymnast does the skills correctly, i have seen alot of techniques on the same skills , none of them look the same, so how do you know which is the correct way to do it, so that you will get a 10.0, does that make any sense?
@justin1gibson Erm... How can I say? Firstly, some moves are to our common sense, like whether gymnast hit her split or not, e.g. Nastia VS Shawn, which Nastia hits splits but Shawn does not, but some technical requirements, like the requirements of hip angle of different body positionsm Then you have to know from the FIG CoP. Secondly, because there are so much different techniques (like straddling in your kips or giants), you won't see them look the same. Hope this helps!
a 9.65 is completley unfair i mean her first pass was a double double! and then a full in, then a 2.5 twisting layout to a straight layout! then a triple twist at the end? and they were all perfectly executed! This routine was far superieor to catalina pornor's floor routine.
Yeah! And not just the tumbling but the dance too. She danced so well and she did a triple turn to a popa and a full twisting switch leap. I don't know the old code, but was her start value at a 10.0? Maybe that full twisting switch leap was supposed to be a 1 1/2 twist..
@Elemarth That doesn't make any sense. Gymnasts now don't even have a chance of getting them, regardless of how perfect a routine they might pull out. The judging has changed, but the quality of the gymnasts is still just as high.
I don't see how your comment makes sense. Unless you mean that there will be no final score that is 10.00, which is obvious. But I thought it was worth maybe 9.85, and if a gymnast has a perfect routine... why won't they get a 10.0 on execution? (I doubt anyone will, without a low difficulty score. Nadia's routine was extremely difficult for the time, but still. She was Nadia.)
Even the most "perfect" routines today (I'm thinking Fan Ye 2005 BB EF) are not awarded tens, even if they clearly deserved them. Any gymnast who got a 10 in the past certainly had little mistakes here and there; you act as though the gymnasts who got 10s were infinitely better than gymnasts today who don't have a chance of getting a 10 for execution (the B-score is what we're talking about here, anyway).
Nastia Liukin got a 9.8 in execution on beam in 2008 at the Pacific Rim I believe, and it was obvious that she got a deduction for leg separation on her dismount. The judges aren't afraid to give out tens, but then again the code is much more strict, so they never have a chance..
@QueenieQue That is probably my favorite routine ever. I would have deducted on the landing of the sheep jump and the slight instability of her switch ring (because she did move her arms)
i must say that she is relly good and i think many gymnasts do deserve 10.0 but to bad it most likely will never happen :( because of the semi-newish code
You guys are retarded. There is no such thing as perfect. There are always errors in the slightest things. Shes wonderful. But I caught some minors. Think of deductions... not the good things.
Yeah I too see the mistakes, but this is close to perfection isn't it? Why not appreciate the good things rather than getting bothered by the bad ones?
so if you look at another version of this video from a different view you can see that she has 3 errors. its sad cause she is so incredible and should have metaled.
god stupid perfectionist judges at the olympics. you know what? that was perfection. cheung fei is a beautiful gymnast and she should have gotten a 1-. i'd like to see those assholes get out there and even attempt what she does.
i know this is prelim. but i wonder why she have that kind of score. Its a bit low for that high level of difficulty of tumble. And i think this routine is much more difficult than Ms. Catalina Ponor which get a 9.7 range of score. What do you think. Open for comments, suggestions and critisim.
