hi. when i press the fruit on the 'FL Studio VSTi/3-FL Studio VSTi ' screen

an Error report apears that says "The FL Studio engine couldn't be linked, probably because another instance of it is already running, or hasnt been installed correctly." i installed it correctly and i dont have another running, and i dont know whats causing this.you think you might know how to fix this man?

I just switched over from FL studio to Ableton so i don't know much about it. It would be helpful if you went slower and explained things, like how did you direct the FL studio plug in to record on another channel and switching views
