  • Great job! Coffee party! I really admire you guys' sincere caring and concern for the general welfare of the society. Keep up with your extraordinary work and effort! Salute!

  • McLovin is all grown up.

  • I drank a coffee this morning and had a movement too...

  • Fwk, coffe party, Taxed Enough Already

Join TEA, they actually have brains.....

  • Reform bla bla bla, name me one productive idea anyone in the coffee party ha come up with? Only thing ihear is "i support my president" and it seems to me, my president and my party over our country... Selfish political hack socialists....

  • Hey everyone! ISSUE #1 at our next meeting will be: Should Annabel Park be replaced as the Leader of our party. ISSUE #2: Henceforth, we'll be known as the COMMIE PARTY (Sponsored by Obama). And our only real platform issue is to support Obama. Thanks....

  • Why would anyone want to uphold a Democracy? This country is a constitutional republic, not a democracy. Democracies come into existence through violence, and they end in violence. Restore our Constitutional Republic, and restore it NOW! Anyone flogging for a democracy, is a traitor to the republic.

  • Keep up the good work Atlanta, from St. Louis!

  • These people belong to the Obamination society. Notice their banner looks like OBAMa. LOL!!!! These are fools....

  • You are such arse with your head in a hole. Sure show, those dope addicts, and those that have lost all motivation to work or stay healthy. You are so stupid it is really unbelievable. You are a left wing, communists, liers. You have nothing else to do. God, you are really full of it...

  • This guys a dope! the only way to fix things is to throw half these bums out including Obama and he's Euro style (High taxes, High unemployment) America.

  • This is so true, everyone's voice needs to be heard, and unfortunately, those who like to name call and intimidate others have taken the national stage. The Coffee Party is for everyone of the political spectrum that wishes to have civil discussions, and come up with a plan of action to find solutions to this country's concerns. And as for all the name calling I'm seeing directed towards the Coffee Party, well, that just goes to show some people want to act juvenile, and not find solutions.

  • 1984 in the making

  • CAMPAIGN REFORM NOW!!!

  • Another Utube video on Health Care:

Health Care Reform Bill is Eugenics and will rid the USA of poor people

  • Hey look, it's the Coffee Beaners!!! hahaha lol .... What a joke!!!

  • The tea party was pretty damn good when Ron Paul supporters invented it. It was pretty civil then. Now its a bunch of wacko's i dont associate with.

    Ron Paul. Campaign for liberty!

  • @mikelunz Well why hasn't Ron Paul done more to denounce the current antics of the tea partt?

  • @Fallstorm777 Have you ever been to a "tea party?" It is very different then what the media would have you believe. Even though I am not pro-tea party at this point, I am going to give a very honest idea of what it is: A bunch of lower-middle class people, whom are either farm hands or kiosk owners who are trying to eventually work their way into the status of owning a store, screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs about their anger.

  • @Fallstorm777 for that reason, Ron Paul would not want to do more to denounce it. Ive seen the evolution of them first hand. I should not have called them wacko's in my previous post. I more or less feel bad for a lot of them, as it is alot of grunt workers who have never tried for a dime from the government.

  • @mikelunz you know not much has changed in the tea party. yeah there are some wackos who latched on to it but for the most part its the same people.

  • @mikelunz I hear what you're saying, but I think Ron Paul is an ideologue. I mean, haven't we had enough of this Ayn Rand bullshit with Greenspan in charge of our financial well being the past two decades. He even came out and said his ideology was deeply flawed...

  • Glenn Beck: Secret Audio Tape of Chuck Schumer

  • Oh, I want to be a part of this. NOT!! Loooooossssssseeeerrrrrssss

  • open your eyes cant you see that all your doing is dividing us that's how

nothing gets done first democrate's and republicans now the tea party and coffee party we shouldn't fight among are selves we are all apart of the rabble.

  • Coffee Party is for the people. The Tea Party wants to turn the clock back to

    1900's.

  • Comment removed

  • Coffee party knows what they want and are organized formerly. Tea party are a bunch of retards nuhaah freedom nuahhh from goverment nuahha, we want sawa paw in for pwesident nuawaa, that's how tea party people protest.

  • @JBBlitz

The Coffee party knows what the want? People to get out of the way is all I heard.

Name 3 issues that they are in favor of.

  • TWO people?! Ha ha ha! How mockingly pathetic!

You formed as a reaction to US! You didn't even begin to begin without us Tea Party Revolutionaries!

Go ahead and invite as MANY stupid people as you want to attend! Ha ha ha! Go pat yourselves on the back Obama-babies! You're nothing but astroturff! LMAO!

  • It is refreshing to see a movement that is about substance, civility, and respectful dialog.

Of course this does not mean everyone will agree with each other, but at least we all may come to understand one another a little better.

I think many of us will find that we do agree on somethings, and we will hopefully learn that even when we disagree we can still be civil to each other.

I think the Coffee Party has the right idea.

  • weak and bitter.

  • extremely professionally produced video. not grass roots.

  • I hope more professional film makers and amature film makers that can produce quality videos come forward. Liberals have a great deal of artistic talent that want to stand up and be heard.

  • annabel park is as establishment as they come, and she was not honest about her intentions with this constructed party. you don't have a grass roots party with "metrics," and "leaders" who report back to headquarters. inorganic.

  • is the coffee party the left's answer to the tea party?

  • anthony,

its the rational citizen's answer to the tea party.

  • I hear ya. Its about time rational people woke up to reactionary tea party.

  • Not so much an answer as a bitching whinge to the Tea Party Revolution.

  • Tea party revolution? The fact that they charged $500 bucks just to sit in a room with some dumb redneck women from Alaska who lacks intelligence and most of all, originality shows that they are not, nor were they ever for the middle class like they say they were Lol. Scott Brown sure flopped really quick. hahahahaha

  • Brown served his purpose. He's castaway goods anyhow, just like ALL politicians deserve to be! Ha ha ha! I never paid, nor was paid to attend our rallies, bub. This Revolution belongs to US!

  • dmkavidelly

if you are going to take an extreme form of the word socialism - which no one is supporting (laborers owning the corporations) then it's fair for me to point out that you wouldn't even have roads/ public schools etc without a form of socialism - this ridiculous emphasis on 'true' socialism.. which would actually be communism -and no one wants is obnoxious.. no one is pushing for government to take over all means of labor - no one wants that. this game is ending true dialogue

  • Coffee party exposed at Big Journalism! Annabel park is George Soros paid shill!

  • @antiliberal 1000and the Tea Party is being run out of the Republican Party. So where do you suggest that an INDEPENDENT turn?

  • Show up and throw up.

  • I looked for Coffee Party locations in ATL yesterday. In a city of over 4m people, there were only 3 locations, two of which were limited to less than 50 people. On 4/15, youll see 10,000-15,000 Tea Partiers at the GA State Capitol.

  • Was this Coffee Party put together by Jimmy Carter or Al Gore? It sound like it.

  • Hey,coffee party I cant hear you clearly in your videos try removing obamas c@ck from your mouth when you speak.Sorry was that uncivil .

  • They say they want to "solve" problems. What does that mean???? It is as though solving problems has no idealogical basis. I want to kill Obamacare, enforce US immigration law, repeal what is left of both TARP and the Stimulus. There problem solved!!!

There is acrimony in the country because govt has gotten too big. it taxes too much, spends too much and regulates too much. Thus a lot is at stake when Congress acts on a bill.

You want more civil discourse. SHRINK GOVERNMENT

  • The Coffee party has no ideas. Thus the movement will die. To the left civil rational discourse means the right shuts up and lets the left do what ever they want.

  • Sound good, may be now many people realized that they allergic to Tea, now let's drink the COFFEE ! So tire of seeing people screaming, being so hateful, carrying vicius signs that often crated violent pictures, time to sit down and be civilized and try to be more understanding for a change. As for me Obama has been trying to do everything to help the country out of troble and we all know it's a very difficult situation, he has to do the best he can!

  • Obama is a collossal failure. But youre pro Obama vomit reveals that the Coffee Party is nothing but shills for the left

  • Support the Coffee party movement and screw the Tea Party Terrorists

  • @JBBlitz

Why not just send a donation directly to the Democrat party and skip the bullshit of pretending the coffee party is non-partisan?

  • The coffee party is a silly artificial movement created and funded by pro-government reactionaries.

  • @tibrotibroprokk Its doesn't need funding.. it needs peoples dialog. It need peoples action. your labeling out of fear. I would be afraid too that the coffee movement matches the same numbers as the tea part after 2 months. We want america to prosper like you. We have disagreements about how to get there. Your combative bullshit wont help America. Actually do something rather then bitch. Pull your weight.

  • SPREAD THE WORD: the coffee party is partnered with democracyinaction, a 501(c)(3) organization, (meaning contributions to the latter are tax-deductible) whose motto is "wiring the progressive movement" for "social justice".

Democracyinaction gets its funding from the Open Society Institute (funded by GEORGE SOROS!). Democracyinaction is also linked to wiredforchange whose clients include the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the DEMOCRATIC Congressional Campaign Committee.

  • @TheShannon76 You guys are a bunch of banker supported obamanoids

  • Let's stop the in-fighting.

We are all proles. As such, everyone irritated with the government should be attending BOTH parties and injecting the real issues into the dialogue: Monetary policy, perpetual war and globalism. They all stink and are ruining the country.

So maybe this is Obama supported, that doesn't mean we can't do our own COINTELPRO at these events and use them to fuel the growing populist movement.

  • @ostormbringero What leads you to believe they are banker supported? what raw facts do you have to support such a claim?

  • @Bigbird5553 you just like running your mouth about what everybody. The fact is that the world elite run the governments of today. Why would the government bail out big banks? Why won't they help us? If they just gave everyone 100,000.00 the economy would be much better. We have 134,000,000 people in the us. They passed a bill for 753,000,000,000,000.00 to bail out the cooperation and not the people. You tell me who runs the country????

  • We should run the country. Isn't that what the TEA party and the COFFEE Party movements are all about ?

The Repbulicans and Democrats are in political gridlock and have not been taking care of any of the major issues for years. It's not about parties, it's all about US !

If those corporations failed our economy would have failed The Bail out is bad only because the corporate crooks who created the crisis are not in jail.

  • 134,000,000 people in the USA.? I think your a LITTLE off. just a 174 million. Add those 2 number together if you can and you will get the real Us population. I don't like the fact we bailed the banks out anymore then you guys do. I think it bribed the people who influence economy. You do realize that 750 billion check was signed before Obama even entered office? And that both democrats AND republicans were in support of it happening?

  • @TheShannon76

    TMI

  • Don't listen to ostormbring, the establishment WANTS the Tea Partiers to fight with the Coffee Partiers and although s/he might not realize it, ostorm is playing into their hands.

The issues are the Federal Reserve Bank/monetary policy, perpetual war and globalism. Those are the issues ruining the country.

I was a Tea Partier and I will also be a Coffee Partier. Anyone concerned w/ our country should be attending both and ignoring the media when they try to divide us against each other.

  • Will you be spreading your vile 911 theories at the coffee parties

  • No, I am a little brighter than that. I understand the truth about 911 is a little too inflammatory for a lot of people to deal with.

The key is to attend these things and discuss the Federal Reserve/monetary policy, globalism and perpetual war. These are the core issues, it's hard to imagine anyone on either side thinking NAFTA is a good idea or that invading Iran is in the country's best interests or that the Federal Reserve should be able to print and issue money out of nothing.

  • I agree. No matter the Party. It should be love of our country that brings us together. I wish I had higher hopes for that happening.

  • @TheShannon76 Im for the REAL COFFEE PARTY not ur coffee party

  • here's a question shannon, if the PAC you mentioned has seen the wisdom of listening to these people - why haven't the republican and democrat joined yet?

  • shannon, thats factually untrue. Coffee Party USA uses Democracy in Action to work parts of their website. Democracy in Action has received funding from Mr. Soros, but Coffee Party USA does not receive any money or influence from either. Democracy in Action and Wired for Change are vendors that offer Internet services and were donated. As a grassroots movement with no initial operating budget, they rely on volunteer hours, and expertise donated by a variety of individuals and organizations.

  • All the info points toward the group being just as astroturfed as the Tea Party in any case regardless of how you justify the details. (I'm a progressive so I'd love to think the Coffee Party was really a populist group)

Annabel Park has worked for all sorts of Democrat political organizations and movements in her career. She certianly isn't one of the regular people who uses facebook and hasn't worked in politics extensively, and she doesn't make any effort to make that clear to viewers.

  • This person knows that. It's a Defamation campaign. They type in "coffee party" into You tube and make sure to continuously comment. I'm not sure for their own pleasure of doing so, or as a defamation campaign. Either reason the effect is the latter.

  • not sure I follow your logic mike. whatever work the founder has done in the past doesn't exclude them from coming up with new ideas

They have invited everyone to the table, whatever labels you put on yourself, so I don't understand the purpose of "outing" their past affiliations. Is there a danger that these people will change your political gender by simply talking and drinking coffee?

It peaks my interest because a movement based of rational, civil discourse make the wingnuts so nervous!

  • I don't think you really read my post,

    1. I said i was a progressive(I usually vote democrat or to the left of the democrats)

    2. I was criticizing the fact that she is introduced misleadingly and describes herself misleadingly in her most well broadcasted venues, my dislike of that has nothing to do with whether I agree with her political assertions or openess.

    3. I do like rational discussion more, but I'm left leaning and that's a natural characteristic of the left so that's no surprise.

  • @TheShan non76:What about Republican and TEA Party don't you see??

The tea party message is all over the place. It looks like they are against everyting and for nothing.

  • Slick and wll funded, nice logos.

I don't here a lot of Constitutional reasoning.

  • Okay, but here is the thing: You're going to get a lot of well-intentioned individuals open to listening to the real issues such as perpetual war, the monetary system/Fed Reserve and the globalist agenda if you attend these things and speak

The establishment wants all the Tea Partiers to hate the Coffee Party Movement and vice versa

We can COINTELPRO this thing by crashing it and injecting the real issues into their dialogue this and, in turn, discover at our core we share the same interest

  • all the coffee party is doing is infiltrating the revolution, this is the same rhetoric i hear from all politicians coming from these shills. Tea party is the only solution

  • Rip offs....

  • Then I suppose Republicans are rip offs as well. Since they were conceived after the democrats.

  • dmdav or whatever your dumbass name is better question is where is your head.................o I found it..........its up your ass dummy.........now go away....

  • TO THE CRITICS FROM THE TEA PARTY: Are you guys saying nobody in the Tea Party used to be a Democrat, or that nobody in the Tea Party voted for Obama? Dont you guys take pride in the fact that you converted former Obama supporters to your cause? If so if the Tea Party does include former Obama voters then whats your beef with Annabell Park having voted for or worked for the Obama campaign? You Tea Partiers are just a bunch of hypocrites.

  • the coffee party is run my obamanoids they r peices of filth

  • Ask Eric Massa about Rahm Emanuel's capability to carry on civil, respectable and cooperative discourse.

  • I totally supporting Coffee Party, Tea Party are Racist to Obama, Anti US government movement, freaked old party since 1700's, UNPatriotic, & A-holes. Coffee Party to shut up Tea Party for good.

  • Seriously, you need to stop spamming.

  • Well I don't support the tea party either, but republicans came about in 1854 not 1700's.

Coffee is stronger then Tea though. :)

  • these nausiating coffee party morons are starting to turn my stomach and making me ill about coffee in general, im thinking about switching to green tea, these clowns are probably doing more damage to the coffee industry then their puny brains can imagine, which is par for the course, because their socialist nonsense has already done more damage to this country than imaginable, and its bringing it down to a very dangerous economic condition...like we need another sixth of our economy ruined

  • @whothehellgivesadamn

You put this well. I agree.

This is more progressive socialist dribble.

  • Socialist? Where is the worker rule? Where is the economic domination of SMALL business? Where is the democracy? What law declares the superiority of personal property over private property? If this gov't is socialist, where is the socialism?

  • Go visit GM showroom

  • So a private corporation with the gov't breathing down their necks is socialism?

lol No. GM wouldn't exist in a socialist system, a auto-making co-op would.

  • Actually that is fascism. GM is owned by the uaw and the govt...that is the definition of socialism. Govt owns the factors of production

  • The Coffee Party's mission and goals are way too vague and broad. I'm easily confused, but I don't understand exactly what they're trying to accomplish. They're not an anti-tea party.

  • Everything about this is fake, including the actors throwing a football in the background.

  • How many times are these "Progressive" going to change their name? We all know they are a bad Obama infomercial.

Nice try! There just a Tea party counterfeit!

  • and what are you a commercial for?

  • @xnothingbutthetruth Currently? Self preservation of my freedoms, liberties and individuality.

  • Silly communists. You are the ones in power, the White House, Congress, etc. It must irk you to no end that the dirty working class Americans don't care for your radicalism.

  • Why did they name this group "Coffee Party", when they already had a perfectly good name in "Weather Underground"?

  • What a load of shit.

I did not hear the word "Constitution" once.

And what the fuck is that bearded guy at the beginning talking about the "noisy" people getting politicians to listen? Since when were liberals the silent majority? When are liberals ever silent? It took an EXPLOSION of debt to get conservatives to hit the streets.

This is pure Obama-turf. Nothing more, nothing less.

  • @poopstreek -"I did not hear the word "Constitution" once."

    That says it all, brilliant!

  • @poopstreek -"I did not hear the word "Constitution" once."

OMG, dude I said the same fucking thing before I read the posts!

  • @chewbaca1989 Amen to that.

  • @chewbaca1989 That's because the consitution is assumed. It doesn't need to be invoked like a magical work. Abra cadabra! Because you repeat constitution every other words doesn't mean your actually more correct in your interpretation.

  • Got my pocket Constitution, the government has enumerated powers. It is my duty to protest and stop any "assumptions".

  • Yes yes little Johny your in a war movie. Don't worry we all believe your a tough guy. Keep using that imagination of yours. That the president is trying to destroy the constitution. Lol. What's next cops and robbers? after you play patriotic hero?

  • Hey your getting really warm, good, but it's not make believe.

  • No it's over exaggeration at best.

  • I'm with ya, Bigbird5553.

Can you believe what these TeaBaggers are doing? Trying to stop OUR President from fixing things.

Did you hear about how the Teabaggers have proposed a new amendment to the Constitution to stop OUR President?

    Here's the draft:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Yeah right, that would never pass!

  • I understand the content of the draft, but don't understand your point.

  • I agree, the problem is that we (the people) have become spectators and politics has in effect become a "spectator sport". A democratic government without citizens as participants will no longer function as a democracy.

We need to take the time to have civil, rational, meaningful discussion with our neighbors and be participants the way previous generations of Americans did. It is not only our right, but our duty to our country and to eachother, to do so.

  • The fact is. These tea partier's who love to talk about the USA being the "most powerful country in the world" do not realize that can't even begin to be true unless we are united. Unless we are capable of co operation. That entails Compromise.

  • Well I've got good news. The coffee party that I went to had several indls that refused to identify as being a demc or republican. When one guy stood up and bellowed "we must remember that we are democrats and stay loyal to the party. Even if it doesn't appear they're representing us at the moment," many of us (probably 1/3 of us) denounced his statement and said we want to use this as a format to make a bridge w/ tea party concerns.

The establishment wants us all divided, we're not biting

  • Everybody knows this is a Globalist co-op

movement to distract or discredit the tea party movement. Not going to work!

  • Right I'm sure it has nothing to do with civilians wanting to put action into their own country. Like Americans have throughout our history, Democrat or Republican. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the constitution and the right to assemble. Your propaganda is what isn't working.

  • The Coffee Party was started by Annabel PArk, a former strategy analyst at the NY Times. This is why the NY Times reported on the Coffee Party so quickly after its founding.

As an activist for Obama, she created more than a dozen videos showing her support.

She also organized "United for Obama".

Nothing about this is grassroots. The Coffee Party is government-approved corporate astroturf with the sole agenda of helping the Left expand the federal govt and bankrupt the private sector.

  • She was an Obama supporter during the election.. yes. As were millions of people - and she made videos and has a strong interest in politics... even studied it in college I believe. She also worked for a year as a strategist with NY times... none of this makes her an 'operative'.

  • And yes, I know this is true - I spoke with her earlier today..

we laughed about the conspiracy theory of her being an 'operative'... she supported obama.. and she made films. - if that means it isn't 'grass roots'.. then nothing is grass roots.

  • I didn't say Park is an "operative".

I said she is an activist and organizer who has played this game before. She's a mainstream media reject hack who has ties to the NEA scandal.

I don't believe in any conspiracy theory, I just think she should acknowledge she's a conspirator using her MSM connections to push an astroturf campaign for the current regime.

She's not a total apparatchik, but a useful idiot claqueur nonetheless.

  • once again.. the fact that she campaigned.. like thousands of groups that organized for obama.. doesn't make it astroturf.. - just the opposite, she was a part of the first grass roots movement and is influential again by reigniting the movement with the coffee party.

She's not a 'conspirator'.. just the same as using a word like 'operative'.. you don't believe in any conspiracy theory you say.. then you say she's a conspirator in the same breath. She studies politics and makes films.

  • conspire (v.) - to work together towards a common end.

So, to you, the Coffee Party doesn't exist? Grab a dictionary and educate yourself. I repeat, there is no conspiracy theory, just an actual group of people conspiring, exploiting their corporate connections to push a political agenda. The corporate connections used to start the Coffee Party make it astroturf.

  • The problem is.. aeuiono.. there are no 'corporate connections'...

How can I explain this to you in a way that we can stop this charade? She isn't connected to any corporation and isn't paid by one - so any claim that you make of it is a smear tactic and a lie.. if you deal in lies you just end up caught in the deception.. could we talk only about facts please and as palin says stop 'makin stuff up'?

  • corporate (adj.) - of, relating to, or formed into a unified body of individuals

Are you saying there is less than two people involved in the Coffee Party?

Where did Park get the Coffee Party seed money, then? If not from her previous work for United for Obama, or the New York Times, or Jim Webb, then where?

And by the looks of things, she likes shopping at Brooks Bros., if you shizzle my jizzle.

To paraphrase Annabel Park, we're not going take this corporate coffee astroturf crap anymore!

  • She could not wear a flag pin and they will say she's a terrorist.

  • Dumbass. You are trying to make this a conspiracy theory. The NY Times did not report on this "quickly after its founding." In fact, they were following the lead of other newspapers who reported on it first such as the Washington Post. They were late reporting it. But it is their job to report the news, so they reported on it, just as they were reporting on the Tea Party movement (they were also late on reporting on that, btw).

This movement IS grassroots. Stop lying.

  • @jensen1901--Hey, I'm the head of coffeeparty manhattan, and we really don't want to use terms like 'teabagger' and 'dumbass' because we don't feel it contributes to a dialogue that is 1. civil 2. respectful, and 3. cooperative. so, please refrain from using that kind of language. it's not very coffee party! thanks.

  • Everyone who is on this thread or any other coffee party thread knows full well you are not part of the coffee party.

    Why are you lying?

I am not part of the coffee party. I represent the party of me. This is America and I am free to call you a liar (or worse, but I'll refrain, this time).

  • Looks like the tea party folks are scared. They're getting each other to post silly comments on this new movement's videos in a desperate attempt to remain relevant.

Keep on shooting, guys. I reckon the Coffee Party must be doing something right.

  • You suck!

  • Wow Passive Aggressive overload. It used to be when progressives couldn't win arguments they'd call you a racist. Now they're telling you to shut up and be "civil".

I didn't hear a single position stated in this video, other than "stop shouting Tea Party protesters"

  • They probably talked about that when they gathered. Were they supposed to give you republicans a memo?

  • Great gathering today. Thousands of people show up for a "Kill the Bill" rally in Minnesota, the most socialist of all US states.

Meanwhile, like 5 "Coffee Party" people hold a "rally" in a coffee house in Washington, D.C.

  • ...A very well organized movement., promoting big government, catchy name...activist for DEMOCRACY. You're kidding right? Where does the money come from, and who do they endorse? Democracy will always be a mob rule, a rule of the sheeple, and if 51% want the other 49% dead, then it's law. A DEMOCRACY IS TWO WOLVES AND A SHEEP VOTING ON WHAT'S FOR DINNER. I didn't hear anything about human rights! You will always need a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC! So no matter what you will still have your rights!

  • Step away from the ledge!

  • @Jensen1901 Since you love numbers so much... ;)

Rasmussen: "Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove."

Zogby: "Just 43 percent would re-elect Obama", "Fifty percent think it's time for someone new to be president"

  • just an update on the 8-9-10 coffee party: "re-retaking back america"...i'm announcing we now have a speaker!! David Plouffe will be there. We'll have seminars on how to call into talk radio shows & get past the call screeners. also, we'll have video cameras to tape testimonials. don't worry: we'll have everything written out for you to say (basically, obama rocks, stuff like that)...& we'll also have an acting teacher there b/c some of the acting so far look worse than porn..coffee party!!

  • @jensen1901 The Coffee Party is racist, sexist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic.

They hate the elderly, love Osama bin Laden, and want to impose their religion on everyone else.

See what I did there? It's my reverse-Dylan Ratigan impression.

  • People didn't vote for Obama, because no one at the time knew anything about Obama, other than he hadn't finished his first term in the US Senate.

    They voted for "change".

So tell me, what changes haven't happened? The Dems just renewed the Patriot Act without changes, violence escalated in the wars, Gitmo still open, spending out of control.

The changes Obama focuses on are changes the American people reject: bailouts, single-payer, cap and trade, and apologies to our enemies.

  • What Change COULD happen? That's for you to consider when looking at Republican obstructionism. No one is buying your con. You pissed us off. The same like 2008 elections.

  • @jensen1901, you're right, these people aren't actors, they're shills. Quote from the coffee party founder Annabel Park in 2008:

"I found that people have little understanding of the change that Senator Barack Obama is advocating. I thought from my experience in using videos for civil movements that videos would be the best way to promote the need for change and for Obama. That's why I decided to work for the Obama campaign," -Annabel Park 2008

  • hey everyone....i'm the head of the coffeeparty on the upper west side of manhattan...i just wanted everyone to know we're going to have a coffee party convention in the lavatory of the starbucks on 102nd and 6th on august, 9 2010 (get it? 08-09-10 -- totally symbolic [ok, technically 08-09-2010, but whatever)... ummm, so totally, like, order coffee &let's all get together &, like, talk civilly & we'll have live entertainment...we're going to have a 2 person acoustic jam band with cats!!!

  • I wonder if this is like the fake Tea Party candidate in Nevada? Democrats are desprate!

  • you are part of a republic and also your base is totally fake grassroots. your "leader" is a Senator Webb + Obama operative FAKE. You want socialism move!

  • Is the White House really this desperate?....if you can't make it, fake it

  • Sham. Who wants to join a movement of another lie? Grow up and realize that your vision was absolutely horrible.

  • To jwka2001:

The Bitch you speak of is some one's daughter, sister or mother and i think you would do good to remember it.

Now as you say she worked for Obama, was it paid work or volunteer work, she worked for the NYTimes i guess thats worse than working for Dick Army or Grover Norquist or Fox.

You are you who these people are speaking of and the sad part is that you do not see this.

  • The bitch who created the coffee party is a known obama organizer and also worked for NYTIMES...so she is obviously a shill for obama and the dems. I dont like the Tea Party, not since it was taken over by fox news and republicans. At least it started out honest,, this coffee party, is starting out already in bed with big gov,,,

  • @jwka2001 Wow. She is a bitch? Why so? That seems kind of extreme. And she is not a shill from what I've read. So what if she voulentered for Obama. Would you have expected her to vote for McCain? Lots of Americans voted and campaigned for Obama.

  • Clearly Annabel Park is a self-loathing woman.

What does it tell you about this woman who hates to see women like Sarah Palin or Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter?

Clearly Annabel Park has stockholm syndrome. This is about hating women who run for vice-president, straight up.

If the Coffee Party isn't racist, then where are the black faces? Where are the people of color? Where are the gays? Have you no shame, sir? I play with baseball cards in the bathtub.

    ...See what I did there?

  • I haven't seen these much astroturf since the last time I saw a Rams game.

  • ZING!

  • And I suppose they all meet at Starbucks?

D d do you youou get the jumpies from aaa belonging to the the the the the the coffee party. These guys are talking like they pump straight caffeine into their veins. At least that's what I got from it. I'll take water..thanks. The water party.....only problem you can see right through what were trying to accomplish and you do our ideas before we can plan them. So I guess that's a wash then....from the gush of water...wash water. Forget it.

  • Coffee party was created by a former campaign worker.....guess who she campaigned for.

  • The best way to start to exercise your power as an individual, is to shut out or turn off ALL opinion shows, such as what you see on Fox News, MSNBC and CNN. Look at facts, not opinions, and apply what you believe to the democratic process. There is pressure today moving in the direction of making the very Constitution obsolete, as Americans it's our patriotic duty to ensure that never happens. The Government should fear its' people, not the other way around!

  • Perhaps we regular folks should start a campaign to send a message to the media. How about a "Turn Off the Media Day"

  • Then where will you get news?

All news is corrupted by opinion, even the news wires.

You think the AP and Reuters doesn't slant? Get real! Just do a google search for "AP unexpectedly" and see the shills for yourself.

You can't separate opinion from news, bc people report the news and all people are biased.

The real answer is to listen to the news and the opinion from multiple sources, be an adult, and use your BS-detector. And keep learning, reading political philosophies, etc.

  • @ aeuiono You can separate facts from opinions and there is a difference between a news reporter and a news personality. Glenn Beck is NOT a news reporter, nor is any of those opinion show commentators on rival networks to Fox. If you want to watch a documentary about the news media watch "Orwell Rolls in his Grave". By selectively filtering news coverage (Choosing facts) the viewer's perception becomes controlled. You sound educated enough to understand propaganda and media manipulation.

  • @MrNeo2001 And that's my point.

It is the responsibility of the people to investigate for themselves what is factual and what is not. All news is controlled by narrow and opinionated news wires, who inject bias into every line they come up with.

Early US newspapers had lots of opinion. When expensive tech took over media (mass distribution of print, radio, TV, network servers), the citizens lost control.

News parading as unbiased is bogus. We need more opinion, and more BS-detecting citizens.
