  • Masterpiece from Vangelis.

It's been 'bout 20 years ago and it still one of my favorite composition ever.

Unfortunately ppl don't need that kind of music anymore...

  • One person obviously isn't a depressive.

  • Good-bye, world. See you in 10 minues (headphones on).

  • looks like a Iron Maiden album cover with the futuristic noir-type city imagery and dreary attitude

  • @Defender78 Somewhere in Time, maybe? :D

  • i could listen to this over and over....just so perfect and enamouring.

  • ...And it normalises,

    this dystopian feeling,

    until we've quite forgotten

    what it's truly like

    to experience joy.

  • To pełna metafizyki i tajemniczości klima. Czas oczekiwania na to co nieuniknione, ostateczne i wieczne.......nieskonczone

  • I love this song, its perfectly fits in this neo-noir movie

  • i just wanna get lost in this movie ...

  • can the maker repair what he has made "

  • A film and a soundtrack that were far ahead of their time. Bona fide classics. This piece never gets old.

  • Vangelis score for Blade Runner is second to none. An absolutely timeless masterpiece of aural delight, it never-ever gets old.

  • Hey No, let's go

  • One of my favorites. Thanks for posting.

  • my favorite song, for sure. Absolutely terrific art-work in the clip, too - thank you for posting!

  • Does anyone know where I can find the very first picture, or the name of the artist? Thanks.

  • @Frederic94 Not sure if this is one of his images, but Syd Mead worked on the visual concept for the movie. Guy is a genius, check him out!

  • @StephenTKeller Much of the artwork IS Syd Meade's. Good stuff!

  • mmmmmm.... Shaihuluid.

  • one of the finest pieces of music ever composed, and one of the finest scores. The film is a masterpiece.

  • how is this version 10:19? The one on the album is 8:54, please tell me how you got this longer version. I need more of this song.

  • It's the exception for film-makers to pay EXTREMELY close attention to music in film. Case and point: There Will Be Blood (most recently). That movie was tremendous but was MADE by that soundtrack. Bladerunner, ditto.

  • @keithblabbermouth

I think some of these artworks can be found in the collector's edition that come by with the dvd.

  • Withouth Words ... Waaaauuuuoooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • It's too deep...

The world beyond the screen becomes more real than ours...

  • They sure don't write them like this anymore. Vangelis has to rate as one of the best living and underrated composers.

  • yes, I gotta agree on that one. Blade runner ended up with an execeptionally well-done track, something that really added to the film

  • @Shaihuluid So, does your name correspond with the giant worms from Dune, or the sick as fuck metal band? Hahaha. I had to ask.

  • amen

  • phenominal.............

  • <3 <3 <3

  • sweeeeet :)
