Masterpiece from Vangelis.
It's been 'bout 20 years ago and it still one of my favorite composition ever.
Unfortunately ppl don't need that kind of music anymore...

looks like a Iron Maiden album cover with the futuristic noir-type city imagery and dreary attitude

A film and a soundtrack that were far ahead of their time. Bona fide classics. This piece never gets old.

Vangelis score for Blade Runner is second to none. An absolutely timeless masterpiece of aural delight, it never-ever gets old.

@Frederic94 Not sure if this is one of his images, but Syd Mead worked on the visual concept for the movie. Guy is a genius, check him out!

It's the exception for film-makers to pay EXTREMELY close attention to music in film. Case and point: There Will Be Blood (most recently). That movie was tremendous but was MADE by that soundtrack. Bladerunner, ditto.

They sure don't write them like this anymore. Vangelis has to rate as one of the best living and underrated composers.

yes, I gotta agree on that one. Blade runner ended up with an execeptionally well-done track, something that really added to the film

@Shaihuluid So, does your name correspond with the giant worms from Dune, or the sick as fuck metal band? Hahaha. I had to ask.
