@mgenetiano The reason why David didn't beat Puck's ass was because he thought he could get rid of him through the "no-assault" rule. If he would've beaten his ass, he would've gone home, also.
But apparently all the rest of the cast was as corrupt as Puck was and didn't care that Puck spat on another castmember.
Which is why the "no-assault" rule is automatic now.
It's just a shame MTV doesn't fire people who break the "no-assault" rule permanently..
