we just got the posters for this concert in my store. right after they came in, a guy stopped by and told me he went to this concert and paid $20 bucks. for john lennon! not to mention a couple other names. could you imagine paying 20 dollars to see john lennon? mind blowing.

this is problibly my favorite video on youtube. not only becuse this is my favorite Lennon song, but at 1:05, you can see it on his face and hear it in his voise that he really cares about what he's singing about.
he died way too young and it's amazing to think about what he would've sang about today.

I don't give a shit that he loved Yoko, I mean shit it was his decision to be with her too so who cares? It's his music I care about. However I do feel he wouldn't have been murdered if he hadn't met her. Unless they decided to stay in England. He could've had some estate with some form of security I'm sure. Especially in his home country where odds would be in his favor.

I love John Lennon. It makes me sick to my stomach that he was senselessly murdered. However, this adoration and deification of him is getting out of hand. How can someone hate Yoko when John loved her so much. When I hear John sing Woman, I can feel the love in the air and that's rare. The story of John and Yoko is the sweetest love story I have ever known.
