really good, you're a half step up from what they play the solo in, it but you transposed it perfectly - I'm guessing you learned this by ear. very solid .
really good, you're a half step up from what they play the solo in, it but you transposed it perfectly - I'm guessing you learned this by ear. very solid.
what's up man. i think you're rendition of this solo is the best i've seen so far. congrats. i'm not big on nit-picking like most fuckheads on this thing. "you're bends were off" "you're tuning was flat" etc. etc. they probably can't even play guitar to begin with. good job, man. keep it up.
@chrisso485 You my friend are a genuine fan of music! Which is the way it should be! Thanks a lot for the comment buddy!! I'm working on the first record with my band so haven't been all that active on making more of these videos but will get back to it sometime soon!!!
the word is woke! he WOKE up from bed, you illiterate fool! jesus fucking christ! waked up....how old are you 6? my 3 year old neice has more linguistic skill than you, "waked" isn't a word!!!! you utter utter stupid dick!
So you say this guitar is really versatile? It's 150 dollars over my price range, but if it's that good then I may get it. The other guitars I was looking at was the Epiphone Dot and the Ibanez AS73. Something that can play smooth warm jazz but then do some metallica and other hardcore stuff
It's quite versatile and the most comfortable neck/fretboard I've played. It's got an insane finish - you could look at it for hours and hours hehe. It's got a great warm sound and works great for Jazz and really heavy stuff - I play in a prog/death metal band and it's my main axe! I also use it for all my solo recordings (We are currently in the studio, I'll post things as they become ready!)
Hehe ur English is just fine my friend. To be honest with you I don't think of it as a jazz, blues, or metal guitar, this guitar feels great and it's got 22 frets so I'll use those to the maximum =D.
It's a beautiful guitar and i'm always inspired playing it...it's got the best fingerboard I've ever used
just to echo twisted1986 if u could would you please e-mail me the tabs for these solos, i love this song and tremonti is my biggest guitar inspiration
Problem is I'm really not all that good with using tabs and all that, I learnt this half off a tab and the other half by ear I think...I don't quite remember right now hehe
you have great taste, alter bridge are number 1 woooo!!!!!
where did you learn because all the alter bridge tabs ive found have been soo wrong, i have the one day remains book so they are all right but i cant find blackbird tabs no matter where i look :(
I got it as a graduation gift so I am not quite sure how much it cost but I think it's a beautiful guitar, looks very inspiring and plays very very smoothly and sounds AMAZING!!! very warm tones come out of this thing and it plays very heavy music.
Plus it is ultra light, there's not much weight on it!
I have been very busy so I wasn't able to put together a review video but I will sometime in the near future once I get time!
What grade did u grad. from?? im gonna b in highschool next year, w/ the exception of summer school (bummer)... but that guitar cost about 400-550-low 600's.... so not ma, i may get either an artcore, this one, or a JEM. I love Ibanez guitars, esspecialy the Ibanez SAGE acoustic steel string dreadnought..
great playing man. as others have posted, i would also love to see a review video about the ajd, looking into that guitar lately. more of a clean funk/blues/jam band player myself.
Great Job. I was hopeing to find additional info on the Ibanez AJD and found your video. I see a prior post asked for your opinion about the AJD. I've been thinking about another guitar and nows the time to buy. I like the AJD and the Ibanez AG95. Both cost the same. Any thought would be GREAT ! Cheers
Honestly I haven't tried the Ibanez AG95 but I can tell you AJD is just incredible, plays heavy and soft! The stock pickups are great too!!
It has a very comfortable bridge system. It took me a little while to get used to it because I was used to floyd rose but I played around with the action on the AJD to get the closest feel to my previous guitar and I can play both very comfortably. I personally would buy another AJD (Possibly with the whammy) for different tunings, pickups, etc.
Hello! Please could you put the preview video for that Ibanez AJD guitar,on YouTube.I thinking of buying that guitar, and every experience, and opinion will be useful to me.
Hey man! I think you should go for it!! So you want me to make a video showing all the features, pros and cons, and possibilities in this guitar??
I am out of town now but will be back home in a couple of days - I can try and put something together over the weekend! What about the guitar do you care most for so I can cover that?
if mark hasnt seen this, he should, because hed be pleased that someone could nail such an awesome song :) its my favorite from them and should be played on the radio more often!! >:O
Not really man. I haven't heard the track yet, I did't delve into "One Day Remains" as much as "Blackbird". If the song hits me hard I may attempt the solo.
you obviously have the same taste in guitr style as me. im just a year into guitar but really catching onto tremontis stuff, especially after i got his dvd. anyways very good
I used the Roland 60 on gigs before and I suffered from no feedback issues when using the sounds within the amp itself, get a footswitch with it that would make ur life easy. But when you plug a pedal into it it might have feedback depending ur settings (I used a pedal processor with it once but the feedback wasn't hard to deal with).
My suggestion? POD X3, it's the best out there for everything. You can plug straight into the mixer with an XLR cable and use the cabs on the POD.
I got many complains from bass player, he is in my band and he don't like my distortion, cause it's metal distortion, and i really tried to make simple distorion for simple rock style and he is never satisfied...that's whole story! I need something like slash dist from guns and roses or richie blackmores dist!!! thnx, btw you play nice...
Thanks man! Yea I agree, a few bits here and there came out a tad bit sloppy. A few bits were changed in Mark's solo part(Mostly in the pentatonic lick).
probably the best ive seen someone else do myles' solo... seems few others do the bends or the vibrato or the other subtle stuff right, but you basically nailed it.
