@WhiteKnitter And this sounds rather good indeed, the samples are promising, so there could be indeed some nice material to come. I really enjoy the SC scores, they all have a handful of really special and memorable tracks. The only thing is that the sampler (fake orchestra) they use sometimes sounds rather harsh and cheap, with too much high frequencies. So the partial use of a real orchestra this time is very welcome!

I love the Character Select music. I also am really loving Pat and Raph's themes. I really love the OST so far overall ^ ^ they all sound so much better than SCIV's music. Also I love that final track at the end :T I wanna hear the full versions of these songs!

I have heard others OST from SC V (Cervantes,Lizardman etc...) and with this video I can agree with this : SCV will have one of the strongest soundtrack of the franchise :3

SCIV had a deplorable soundtrack. But Soul Calibur 1,2,3 have one of the greatest soundtracks of ANY videogame series ever... Up there with Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc. SCV may have redeemed the series' soundtrack...

@Zangelin Hey now, Twilight Dwellers is great. Phantasmagoria, Tempered Soul, and Reign of Doom are all fine. Valiant Heart was great, too.

I find myself humming Twilight Dwellers from time to time.

@xOmniCloudx It's superior, but SCIV's ost is far from weak when you compare it with other fighters. Thanatos in SCIV and Innocent Vision (Ephemeral Dream) in SCBD sealed the deal for me. I always, always select Jyurakudai Villa during training, and sometimes I just stop doing everything simply to listen to the music. That said, SCV's ost seems epic beyond proportions.

@FrizFroz I play a lot of fighters and still can't agree that SCIV's OST was strong by any means. Bland and mostly unforgettable. Broken Destiny's Innocent Vision simply put in the instrumentals from SCIV to Ephemeral Dream of SCIII. It was nothing special on its own. Thanatos I didn't really feel. Just not an OST that sticks with me for any real reason.

@xOmniCloudx You're right, Innocent Vision is* Ephemeral Dream, but it's so captivating that I don't mind it being repeated again in BD. Personally I feel that it beats most SF osts, the instrumentals trump my favorite Tekken soundtracks (Fallen Colony and Anger of the Earth) and it is on par with the best BB soundtracks as well, except the vocal ones by Kotoko. My 2 cents

@fawful27 Why are you all so mean with the SC4 soundtrack. There was some very good piece of music : Twilight Dwellers of course (which was way better that Wings of Despair), Destiny will tell, Infinite Images, To The Wind, Entwined Destiny, The Uncovered History (even if History Beckons was better IMO)....

I really don't think SC4 soundtrack was bad. In any case it was better that the music in this vid.
