  • my beautiful wife , good choice of words

  • Great looking gun and nice scope choice! (I love nightforce)

  • Do you have to do any work to the rifle or did you just put it together and zero it.

  • @SniperCountry96 Not sure what your asking? We built the rifle from scratch. I bought all the parts and my friend and I assembled it all. Including chambering the barrel and cutting and crowning the barrel. The only thing we did not do was the Cerakote on the barreled action. I sent that off to Surgeon Rifles. As for shooting it...had to work up a load for it and that was it.

  • @BgBamBoo Thats what I wanted to know about, I didnt know if you had to do the crowning cutting and chambering.

  • sweet. i am currently having a .243 built but i am extremely tempted by the 6xc. they are quiet new, have you used them hunting at all

  • @poulo69 No...have not used one for hunting. But the ballistics are so close to a .243 that I would think they would make a great varmint rifle. With much better barrel life and less case trimming the 6XC is a great round. Take care

  • @poulo69 , thanks for the reply i think i will give my gun smith a call for a chat, the barrel is due in next week so i can still change my mind

  • Nice rifle. i shoot the 115 Dtac bullets out of mine @ about 3016fps. just wondering what you loads are that you worked up.

  • @islogrm I am currently shooting 107gr SMK's....just cause I have a lot of them. I am using 38.5 grains of H4350 and my avg. muzzle velocity is 2980 FPS. I plan on playing with some RL-17 and once I shoot up the 107's will go back to the 115 DTAC's.
