  • I wish I was a New Englander.....Most of my ancestors were New England Puritans, most of whom lived there from around the 1630s to around 1800. Why did they leave?

  • GTFO of our state around fall!!

  • im in new england since 3 months, i fuckin hate it... sorry guys...

  • Aww i just live in England lol

Its cold here and rains alot and you never see the sun xD

I would like to live here, any suggestions where the best place would be to live?

Also does it have its own laws like some states because i dont know much about America and its wierd visa thing to get in.

It confuses me, any help? xD

  • whats new england looks like? in live in LA

  • makes me proud I live here

  • Hah i used to live about 16 miles from mt washington in a small town called Center Ossipiee inside the White Mountains.

people are always so laid back and calm in Upper New england.

Those apple trees are called Hybrids. You can graph other types of fruit together also and still bear fruit. but it takes a long time to mature.

oh mt washington isn't only the tallest mountain in New england. It's the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi.

    Thanks for the upload :)

  • Well done. I love living here, but you've got to continue. There's a lot more to New England.

  • Just great, I've tried to describe my many trips to New England in Autumn when I could have shown this! 5 Stars!

  • I live in Massachusetts!!!!!

  • i would have used a tripod, but i liked the video otherwise

  • Thank you, I love the video. I miss New England. You did a wonderful job

  • To clear the palette of complaints from curmudgeons...thanks for posting this. I really enjoyed it!

  • Hey now I lived in Maine all my life and I just moved to GA to be with my husband! I always tell people to go to maine, its a wonderful place and though tourist are really annoying they need to experience it!

  • been on the auto road 4 times :) been to the summit, and been on the train

  • Decent video, but I still want to chop off that stupid ponytail!

  • WoW ! Awesome Trip.

I actually felt like I just visited it.

    Thank you for sharing.

    Awesome ! again

The people are also VERY Kind and Cool,

North. I met many from Boston to Maine,

and Canada and their Very Kind.

    Love,

    Teri

  • new hampshire is awesome. if you dont like NE, then dont come here. we are not rude, were protective of what we have because we appreciate it. I could walk up to any stranger around were I live and if I asked them for a favor, chances are I would get it. try that elsewhere, see if people are that nice.....

  • yeah i live in MA and when i go up there im always shocked by the amount of Hello and How are you? I get. Not a lot of places in the world like that.

  • Welcome to NH, now go home.

(naw we're not rude.... just sick of flat-landers coming up here and trashing our state. )

  • agreed, us Mainers are pissed too

  • Obvious flat-landers. You noobs can never say Kancamagus right. Stay out of my state.

  • Great video!

  • Why do so many New England tourists mispronounce Kancamagus? The chief would not be pleased...

  • I was born in NE & lived in 4 of its states. Fall is incredible if brief, but to focus entirely on foliage & apples is naive. New Englanders truly can be quite rude. My last arrival home before moving away demonstrated this: a bossy old woman at the airport baggage carousel smacked me in the stomach demanding to see my claim tag. Nobody even seemed surprised. When I go back to visit, I notice I'm treated far less politely in stores & restaurants than I am in California. Colors aren't everything.

  • Rude? You generalize. I suppose if I don't like a black politians policy's Im a bigot or a racist. Im from Maine. And I have lived in Mass NH and Me. I have also lived in LA, Ca, Cn, and find that there are always going to be Rude people. New Englanders are always helpful and nice as a rule. You must have meet the old lady from some other state. now living in NE

  • You oversimplify, and if you say "as a rule" then you generalize also. True, I do generalize, but I do so based on living in New England for 44 years, in 8 localities of all types. The comparison on visits I now make to CT/MA/VT occurs 2 to 4 times a year and *invariably* I am struck by the rudeness in businesses and public spaces.

Your mileage may vary, but trust me, the airport lady had a thick Boston accent (like both my parents do, so I know what I heard) and was quite clearly a native.

  • I Most Mainers don't consider Boston Ne people. Your right they can be rude.

  • I grew up spending my summers in New Hampshire, in the Sunapee Lake region. Thank you for a beautiful visual reminder of why it's my favorite state.

  • and a hot plate!

  • Nice but Californias better...

  • i live in Northern Maine, I have to say it is great up here, Potatoe fields, leaves, hills, apples, Blueberrys, rasberryetc. we are freindly people.

  • i live in "midcoast" maine...it is so pretty ...especially when the big grey storm clouds roll in for a moment - they grey sets off al the colors

  • I'm not from New England but have lived there for 8 years.

I have to agree that Fall is magical and makes up for the horrid winters and blistering summers. Not to mention the rude people but considering them not in the picture it could make New England almost livable. The land are and architecture are the complete opposites to their bad attitude. You need to forgive the residents for their non-progressive and laziness along with their misery. Miserable people, that's it.

  • where in new england were you at? Ive lived in maine since '98 and the majority of the people ive encountered are very nice and really down to earth. They do alot to protect against urban sprawl...but that doesnt have a positive effect on the economy...keeps it kind of stunted. there is very little crime....one thing that is iriitating about the people is they are naively arrogant.....because they are so sheltered

  • génial merci

  • cute...

  • I live 20 minutes south of Mt Washington. Fall is my favorite time of year. As far as not worrying about bugs...they may not be venonmous, but he black fly and mosquito are practically NH state birds. Real bad in the Spring and early Summer. Best place on earth though.

  • my husband has a t shirt with a mosquito on it that says " Maine state bird"

    haha

  • i luv New England

  • Well I have never been, but it looks beautiful.

  • and of course you can drive to the top because you easterners have forgotten how to hike and enjoy a natural mountain...

  • A good spot for leaf watching in October is up alongside I-91, going through Easthampton, Mass. The view looks like a painting.

  • I live in New England, I love it. Beautifull spring days, hot summers The best fall you'll ever experince. and the great skiing, snowmobiling in winter. best of all worlds.

and no crazy bugs or animals to worry about.

  • ;oj'lj

  • go PATRIOTS

  • you are just miserable, pathetic and extremely sad.let me guess your one of those so-called christians

  • Nyeeeeaaaahhhh.... Why don't you come to real America

  • i have and i have lived in almost every state in this country.why do you have to be so hateful and small-minded.peopleare pretty much the same everywhere you go.your attitude and mind-set are probably why you run into rude and hateful people.you might want to look in the mirror a little closer.your commenting on intelligence?hmm

  • In case you didn't know........ I'm the BIRD MAMMA

    BIRD MAMMA

  • @Ineededanaccount0 yea so wth does that mean?

  • very nice video would like to go there someday.

  • born and raised in new england, i take this stuff for granted. come and visit in the fall, but leave before the winter cause it can get harsh as hell.

  • you said it!

  • beautiful scenery great video. hopefully i can visit when i grow older:)

  • cut your hair.

  • My Mom has expressed a wish to see these very things. I think we will do so nxt yr :) I look forward to showing her NE in the fall.

  • an interesting ved

  • I live in ma

  • i did 15 years of the cranberry thing (i don't miss it) so moving up to the northern white mountains was the best thing i ever did. mt. washington out the window everyday,,back yard has turkey's, bear, moose, deer, fox, ect. i've been in 3 foot and 4 foot snow storms up here, but love it anyway. very nice video!

  • I agree, New England in the autumn is one of the best natural phenomena I have ever seen. This video could really do with a tripod, though...

  • awesome vid =]

  • now if you made you some wings in the winter, could ya fly or would the clouds turn you into iced apple cider?

  • Thank you so much for sharing this =)

  • I'd love to see the fall in New England in the US (not New England in Australia). We never get to see those amazing deciduous forrests in a eucalyptus dominated land. I'd like to do a drive through New England, accross to Canada, through Labrador, along the coastal road to St John. One day. When I have the money. Mount Washington looks amazing. Could someone buy me a ticket to go there? Haha. Blessings FLETCHER
