Maybe there are some muslims who might have thought about converting to a different belief, which is their business. But when they read stuff like you wrote here, how is that going to persuade them?

Yusuf Islams web page you can read him saying why he has dropped Islam From His Stage Name and that he will not wear islamic clothes or a turban and that he regrets being a conformist to the islamic crowd when he first converted. We are seeing the true Cat Stevens near the end of his life now understand that death threats and islamic fundamentals are anti human and not God he is changing he was great he can be great again

Well gee redshirt, what a sweet answer. Muslims are in Great Britian, Germany and France because they needed their cheap labor. Or they are from former colonies. France makes them live all in one area, won't let them get certain jobs even if they are second generation, and Germany has Turks they treat like dirt to do their dirty work. Honest to the Goddess he was a georgous man back then. This song almost makes me cry because he seems to be keeping his voice held back, so much power.
Back when he was Cat and I fell into an emotional pit with my controling husband, this mans music pulled my back to life.
He made me a hard headed woman enough to get me free of that man.
Hate him if you must, he can't feel it.

Another song apparently inspired by his relationship with Patti D'Arbanville (Lady D'Arbanville and Wild World are the others). A wonderful song written by a wonderfully talented man in the early 1970s. Too bad we don't see such music released today.
