The easiest way to do it is to reset the firing controls on the console to the right of the door and have the AA Gun shoot down the helicopter before it even lands. That way you dont have to listen to a boring speech

@dnellbasedgod610 I suppose you could do that, but once you kill one its like hitting a bee hive with a stick, especially if you don't have a stealthy weapon. The easiest thing to do is to wear an NCR uniform and keep your distance, then pick off Kimball when he arrives or try to put some C4 on the stage before he arrives if you don't have enough gun skill to kill him from afar. After you kill him its best to hide until the Rangers calm down, keep your distance from them when you leave.

@Timmy91000 Caesar, and you can't. This is more or less the defining mission for your allying with Caesar. If you want to side with the NCR you can't do it.

There are several endings, including siding with the NCR or Caesar, so you'll probably want to have a good save slot in place where you can choose an ending to go with after you complete each one, most likely right after you finish a few mission for Mr. House, when you receive the untimatums from both factions saying not to work with him.

Actually, I tend to have max gun skill by this point so I'm pretty sure I could have made the shot, I just couldn't help but think how lame-ass that would be.

i could have used the fatman, but i thought a space laser would be a better choice. in the end i used the laser, reloaded, used a rocket, reloaded, then ended it with a fatman blast. "No such thing as to much firepower."

I've seen the space laser in videos, but have never gotten it. Where do you get it?

@nathan9384 you have to pick to activate the space laser system at helios one. then when you get to freeside through the east gate, a kid is chasing his friend with a toy gun that is the targeting system for the laser. i cost either 1000 caps or 10 caps with good bargain skill.

@jayswood13 Yea, I tend to use max gun skill and very high if not max repair, and have all the reloading bench items unlocked. JSP = Jacketed Soft Point. They have no disadvantage as damage is increased and has slightly better penetration than normal .308 in the game.
