The Halo Novels describes how a SPARTAN soldier is kidnapped from their home planet at age 6 and trained on Reach with exercises that put their witts to the extreme test. Once they are age 14, they are put into a biological process to turn them into super humans, otherwise, the MJOLNIR suit they wear would literally kill them. basically:

0:20: that's Chief Petty Mendez, the guy that trained SPARTANS

0:26: Kidnapped from home planet

1:22: biological proses

Spartan IIs were hard to train and outfit but better (and fewer) than IIIs. Get ur facts straight before you say anything.
