in order to make cricket a popular sports in US, there should be a member of team comprising of mostly what we see at present in other popular sports - basketball, NFL, baseball, ice hockey...as long as if the cricket is concenterated between indians and pakistanis, i see no prospects at all in the development of cricket in US.. coz i have seen team from HK, Singapore, Malaysia, where the majority of the member are all from indian and pakistani origin...

so it has to be global.. i mean....

If cric was promoted properly it would become VERY popular in the USA, just as it was from 1840-1900 when crowds were as large if not larger than for baseball. 20/20 is ideal for the American audience. Guaranteed!
