WOW!!! on the real tho bro, the comparisons are AHH-mazing!!! how many sessions did you do on em? I have 1996 OG Concords and 2001 Concords that are piss yellow, cant wait to do em! check out my channel for results soon!!! :))
Guys i just did this on my mettalic 5s. Its not that complicated just get 2 lamps with any bulb. They make a dome. Then just leave on for about 6-10 hours. I got perfect results.
I just took out my space jams and noticed the icey sole is yellowing. Im so mad right now but looking at your setup is making me depressed on the lengths I need to take to get rid of it. You are showing results. I'm gonna give it a try. Thanks for the vid!
@MrDaddymorales the sole looks more white because of chemical burns it looks like they go away and it's icey and the mesh im not sure about it depends on the shoe if its a white leather jordan 5 you could but be really careful not sure about other colored shoes might ended up fading
@kjjhOG2350 are they just normal light bulbs or "60 watt replacement" The bulbs that say thing like " 60 watt replacement" are florescent bulbs. the good thing about them is they only put off as much heat and take as much energy as like a 15 watt bulb but they still put as much light off as a normal bulb. Good for shoes because your soles won't separate. if they are 60 watt replacement then they should be good, although you might get faster results from like a 75 or 100 watt replacement
@iHaeTypoz walmart or home depot or lowes or anywhere like that and you can get them for around 6 bucks. they come with a reflective cover and a clamp on them, i just took both off. if you check walmart.com and search "clamp light" they will pop up. you may be able to find just the socket and it would be cheapest that way
@joseizbeast95 yea some people have been using it on the netting. I haven't tried, but apparently just make sure you clean it off before it dries. otherwise its really hard to get off. use sean wrap while your doing it to keep it from drying out
@EnviedFeet im not sure about the 2 hours out to 12 hours in. it all depends on the level of UZ rays, so it really depends on your bulb. I left my 11s in all night and nothing went wrong, i put saran wrap over the soles after i applied the retr0bright to keep it from drying out.
Good look just checkin and @illwill u can still use Angelus leather paint in a air brush gun u just thin it out a lil wit what ever acrylic finish u want to use just throwing that out there cuz I use ab for my restoration business and I saw ur vid and thought that could help u
I saw your other vid on the military 4s, and i notice that you applied the retrobright on the midsole and the front of the shoe. Is it possible for the retro bright to separate those areas?
Ayo I make it and if it sits for like a few secs it blows up until I shake the container then it falls back down,I stir it up till it's a gel like consistency then spread it on the sole but as it sits in the sun it expands again and looks like it's drying out is all this normal???LMK asap
how many sessions did you do? & i have a question, whenever i make it, it stays a liquid when i put it in the microwave.. should i leave it in there for longer? i left it in for 45 seconds... i tried it again and my second batch was too thick, i added a little more corn starch & left it in for 1:00 but stopped it at 20 seconds it was really thick but i added the oxy clean and it looked sort of ice cream-ish, like really frosty looking? am i doing it wrong or should it work the same?
@kintana1 the problem is you just havent got the right amount of corn starch yet, sounds like too little once, then too much. if your only doing like a half cup of peroxide just use a little more than a table spoon of corn starch. keep that ratio and you should be fine. you want it to be thin enough to spread on your shoe with little effort. as far as my sessions, id say i did about 6-7 because i used the 3% peroxide. people have been getting results like this in just 1-2 sessions with 40%
Sure u saw the comment on the other vid so no need to explain what I do but question I like to test on BEATTTTTT kicks or FAKE I can get a beat pair of fake concords to test ur method on do u think I could get results as if they were real?
@tlawrence117 i have never seen a pair of fake 11s to know how the soles compared, chances are they are a similar type of rubber though and this should work on almost any rubber so id say you could def gets results
Does the light have to send out UV?

@jriv11271 people have tried it on columbia 11s patent leather but got no results :(
SneakerRevival 7 months ago
around how much does it cost 2 make the retr0bright?
jriv11271 7 months ago
@jriv11271 depends if your using 3% hydrogen peroxide. if you are:
Hydrogen peroxide- 99 cents
Corn starch- 99 cents
oxi clean- around 3 dollars (lasts a long time)
so for around 5 bucks you can make a ton of retrobright,
12% hydrogen peroxide is a little more expensive. i think they have it at sallys beauty for around 5 bucks
if your going to get that its called 40 Developer. its used to bleach hair. don't get the developer in creme form though, it doesn't work as good.

256andra 7 months ago
@256andra id say around 7. Its going to be different from person to person though depends on how yellow the soles are and the light set up.
SneakerRevival 7 months ago
What if leave the mixture on for 12 hours? Im doing it indoors by the way. I heard 2 hours in sunlight is equal to 10 hours inside.
