  • whats the name of the song the comes on before the zeromus theme?

  • *after you defeat zeromus*'

Kain: umm.....hey guys...I'm still in the air.....ok now how do I get down...hmm...

  • blakeee! nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo es cecil

  • Is there new game+ in this edition?

  • Most kids today play only fps, but I proud to only be thirteen and know and played almost all the final fantasy and kingdom hearts games.

  • well, they really milked that death

  • The music here STILL sounds better than the DS version :O

  • In my eyes, Zeromus will always be the greatest villian...

  • That's why! Zeromus is mad because part of his penis is clearly cut off!

  • Just beat final fantasy iv advance today! i think the advance version is better than the DS version. But anyways Final fantasy iv is awesome! ^^

  • double jump???? HOW?

  • @damabofito dragoon gauntlets they turn jump into double jump and increase kains phisical attack damage i think

  • @WhipLash42o oooooooohh. where do i get that?

  • @damabofito its from the Lunar Ruins the ex-dungeon after you beat the game. you MUST have kain in your party when you beat Zeromus in the final battle (not Zeromus-EG in Lunar Ruins) once he's dead you can enter kain's challenge room (kain must be in your party to enter) it's deep in the Lunar Ruins. it's a solo challenge also so only kain can go in, you have to fight Lunar Bahamut solo (just jump when timer hits 2 you'll be fine) oh and DO NOT kill Cecil or you will fail challenge.

  • @WhipLash42o oooooooohh. cool! thanks!

  • His death lasted 1 min

  • Gasp...he's got chicken legs! (Zeromus is not an evil mutated chicken...)

  • he was hard on SNES lol

  • I just kept throwing excalibars at zeromus and eventually he died ñ_ñ

  • isn't it convenient that zeromus just sits there and watches as your whole party is revived instead of eating everyone at any time during the entire minute that they're distracted?

  • who has a golbez solo? Because l watch a guy named kaloes and he did Rydia as a kid solo.

  • When I saw the final boss I was like "oh shi-"

    3 minutes later.

    GAME OVER

  • amazing soundtrack.

  • Ahh ff4 good memories of...not getting wiped out... good times...

  • It's so sad they used the beggining music for Final Fantasy 12. That game was so terrible. :D

  • Wow, i just noticed. Cecil looks just like the Knight in FF1, except with Blu-ish Whit-ish hair.

  • I hate that Whirl and Big Bang Combo. Sometimes he'll use Whirl on everyone and then Big Bang. You sometimes don't even have time to heal.

  • @jered91 funny you should mention that,i was beating zeromus,i thought i beat him,but actually it was my game crashing.damn i couldnt tell the difference ^.^

  • ds version is better

  • @RandomArbiter Are you kidding me, do you not relize that they ruinned the final boss theme let alone took out the Lunar ruins!?!?!?! What a joke.

  • No wonder I've been having such hell with this boss... All of my top characters are at the point where they have only 1-3k health when fully healed, few of those spells that you used, and I've yet to find anywhere with a decent supply of throwing weapons for edge...

I seem to have skipped a huge chunk of the game as well, I never went through the land of Summons for example.

I think that I went astray just after the dungeon that required Luca's necklace to break the seal...

  • Longest death animation ever...

  • great battle music :P

  • Best Boss death...EVER! Slowly going off the screen downwards was so satisfying back then.

  • attack

  • Dude you did not steal the dark matter from Zeromus you can use Edge to do it with that he will only do half damage while you do sky rocketing damage

  • Bonus Dungeon? HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THERE!!!

  • I swear Zeromus's theme in the GBA version is not only the 1 song I actually like, but I also think it's the best version of the song..

  • bitch is lookin like sasquatch.then throw up.... Las Plagas anybody?

  • im getting this for ds

  • IMMEAN RIDELY.. LOL

  • this sht was sad.. i cried a bit :/ ....... FF IV is aweseome

  • Could someone answer this for me?

Okay, I saw this one final fantasy game once, and the final boos was like this HUGE thing, and its like when you kill it, the screen scrolls up or something and then there's more of it? It was one of the older ones....

  • FF6

    Kefka.

  • i just saw it, it was VI

  • my favorite final fantasy EVER

  • when zeromus is being deleted, it sounds like a paper printer going nuts XD

  • @Minan3 It's becuz he is being printed -.-

  • @Fineneoghostx2 how about being put in a paper shredder, hahaha!

  • lol'd at Rydia not doing anything the entire battle

  • not good graphic but good gameplay and story

  • I had very good graphics for the year it was released!

  • FF 4,6,and 10 are my favorite Final Fantasies

  • That's what I was going to say

  • I used this party the first time that I fought Zeromus on FF4A: Cecil [F], Rosa[F], Rydia[B], Palom[B], Porom[B]. ([B]=back row; [F]=Front Row; I'm a magic guy.) I modded my characters up to Lvl 99, all magic, all summons, all that jazz. Didn't take me more than five minutes: Thanks to Holy, Flare, and Bahamut. Send me a comment if you want my actual battle strategy.

  • Yeah I used the original characters that were in the SNES version. You can't pick Tellah, Ed, Yang, Palom, Parom in the SNES game because...well...they were dead for good :(

  • Cid, Edward, Yang, Palom, and Porom are revived at the Battle of the Babel Giant in the GBA version, so I swapped out Kain and Edge for Palom and Porom because I prefer magic-users.

  • Oh yeah I know what mean. That's cool and all. I was just saying I used the party that us old schoolers were stuck with in the original SNES version. That's what I was used to. I'm not gonna fix a battle strategy I used in the past if it isn't broken :P

  • How do you get the Double Jump ability for Kain?

  • u need dragoon boots from the lunar ruins

  • @Artificialraven After going through the game million's and million's of times I've found out the best team possible is Cecil, Edward, Edge, Palom, and Porom. That's my best team IMO.

  • You can swap charactors?

  • Only in the GBA version. In the SNES and DS version, your stuck with the peeps you got -.-

I have to say, Edward kicked more ass in the DS version. Plus, he had WAY more HP.

  • Well, Edward and Yang were just basically incapacitated, as well as Cid. I don't feel there was anything wrong with the original final party of the SNES though, not a fan that you need to do crap with Edward to 100% the GBA version.. >.>

  • lol i wish it was possible to battle my charicters against urs but i lost the game again lol i wonder why this was the only 2d final fantasy game that used 5 charicters at once in battle

  • What? They were killed off in the SNES version?

  • they went right back to that except they were revived ,but they were praying for success. its my first time having to finish a final fantasy without the whole party. palom and porom reminded me so much of me and my sisters. in fact i liked all the party members, i just wish they werent excluded thanks to golbez LOL

  • @Artificialraven but they was revived too in snes version

  • @Algernonab what do you mean you "modded" the characters??? dont you just lvl them up all the way?

  • @theminijones I used cheat codes and an emulator.

  • @Algernonab I only cheated to see what lvl 99 dark knight cecil's stats would be. Pretty killer too. Not gonna lie. And I did it after beating the game without cheats.

  • this fight took me a long time

  • i hate the music for the final boss i love the music for the form right before the final form :) it makes me happy

  • dude how can you possibly hate iv final boss theme other than the normal boss theme from vi there is no better theme at all

  • i dont like it as much as i did for the first part of zeromus in the video :D

  • i remember this battle

first time a fought him i was low lvl

    he fckn kicked my ass

  • whats your level i thingk your level is 61 mine lv 100

  • No Palom and Parom Died, Fusoya, Tellah, and Cid died and so did Golbez

  • no they didnt

  • fudgers failed

  • wow i didnt realize it when i played this but whats with the super slow almost a minute long death.?

  • wheres cecils (blake on your game) armor and helm??????

  • Blake is Cecil?

  • Yeah he's Cecil. I rename the main character most of the time if it's possible. That way it's personalized.

  • @Artificialraven LOLz For Final Fantasy VI you gave the name Blake to Locke. Terra is the lead character.

  • So...Cid,FuSoYa,Tellah,Edward,Palom,Porom...are death?

  • Only Tellah died.

  • @WhopYaJaw808 And it still makes me sad. I liked that crazy old coot.

  • tellah yes but the rest no and u can even chose them in the final battle(except tellah)

  • Bahamut is a better spell than meteor for Rydia

  • Interesting the name changes in terms of the spells, otherwise it seems pretty true to the original SNES, though I do find the selector to be very annoying sounding...

  • The original was americanized when it was translated. They tried to remain faithful to the original for this version.

  • The selector is one of the best parts of the game :P

  • And you gotta admit Fira sounds better than "Fire2"...

  • I disagree. I much prefer the Numerical name rather than the made up suffix. Numbers are much easier on the brain than that Fire, Fira, Firaga wharrgarbl. That's just my opinion though.

  • Well I remember it like this...

"The one that sounds most badass is the strongest."

However that's also why I never again will trust Bahamut,,,,

  • Well...to me "Fire" sounds like the most badass one out of my given examples, at least to me it does. XD

I see what you're saying though.

  • I can agree with that 100%... the numbers make it easier to remember!! : )

  • I hate whirls. theyre so unfair! :(

  • @ZblueboltZ

It's only a counter attack, you know.

  • I know but it's annoying lol. At least the attack itself can't kill.

  • I always thought Rydia's flare worked better than meteo.

  • bahamut is the better choice for the mega flare attack

  • I beat him when my characters was level 60-67ish. He really that hard, but kinda easy too.

  • I actually like the turn-based battle systems in FFX and FF Tactics.

Knowing the exact ordering of turn and how different actions will affect it makes the game a lot more strategic.

  • being attacked wen choosing spells and shit isnt more strategis >.>

  • My point exactly.

Whether or not you know exactly where hi-potions are in your inventory list so you can select them quickly shouldn't affect how well you can play the game. That's just memorization and finger agility.

don't get me wrong though, FFIV and FFVIII are two of my favorites

  • well i like final fantasy 4 and some other i have played i jus do not like being attacked on my turn when the game is suposedly turn based....

  • Actually, no it's not turn-based it never was. The games used a system called Active Time Battle, which uses a timer (which is that bar that you see recharging in the Advance version).

And the settings CAN be changed so that the enemies don't take a cheap shot at you while you're choosing. The higher this setting is set to the faster paced the battle is. In a sense it IS kind of turn based but not really. The recharging is kind of what keeps you on your toes.

  • well most rpgs r reffered to being turnbased even if they arent...most of them have cheap turn taking anyways like pokemon which i played in my younger days....>.>

  • Back when this game was released in America on the SNES, it was actually one of the first ATB RPG games. Ground breaking shit for it's time.

  • lots of stuff was groundbreaking backthen now nothing is new....i mean u can predict wat every company is gonna release and how it i gonna be played...o well wii was fun for a while

  • Well now you know, that little bar next to the character's stats and stuff DOES NOT MEAN TURN-BASED. It's CLOSE to it but it's actually as close to real-time as you would get before the advent of Star Ocean.

  • my fav FF, but the final battle is so easy...

(beat him with lvl between 35 and 90)

  • lol.... I think DS version is much ahrder tbh:) i beat him on lvl 70 with my chars, 70 highest, 67 lowest, it was a hard fight i thik, didnt want too farm, so tried on those lvls and it worked out well xD but dude, a difference between 35 and 90 is like, ehum, how to put it down, MASSIVE!!! haha how did that happen xD

  • i had to lvl up from lvl 60 to 90 in order to beat this guy on DS lol

  • i meant in one playthrough on lvl 35~

    and another playthrough lvl 90~

saying that i managed it in high and low level

(low level did require a lot of effort to save alive)

unsure if the lvl 35 was on a translated japanese version, or the easier US version, could have likely been the easy version...

never tried the DS version yet, im on FF3 for DS atm ^^

  • hehe ok xD I get it now:) damn I played also FF3 on DS, but wot a pathetic story dude, u come somewhere and out of nowhere u r pulled into a castle... xS I stopped playing it:) The whole story was weired to me :)

  • i agree that the story was abit odd and far from as good as many of the others but stil it was okay and the final boss theme is just awsome

  • WOW...

  • what level were you when you first beat zeromus?

  • 3:37-4:37

    Longest death ever LOL

  • Yeah, The emperor from Final Fantasy 2 could be beaten while Zeromus is still dying

  • So, Cecil isn't in the GBA remake?

  • he is, it's just he is called blake in this video...

  • Sweet I COMPLETELY forgot about Blake (naming), thank you Artificialraven for reminding me that Blake exists :D

  • Yes. The original name of the character was Cecil.

  • Umm, I already knew that, so WHY'RE you replying to me?!? O_o

P.S. I didn't mean to sound mean or offensive, etc. :P

  • ...Zeromus reveals himself....

He looks more like the contents of my stomach after a night out!!! LOLOLOL

He took soooooo long to die, why didnt they call in an airstrike or something!!!

He took 1 minute to finally die!!!

    I love this shit!!!!

  • nice job!

  • this is NOT the last/final boss of ff4 xD

  • i beat him with kain-63 w/ holy lance & dragon equipment yang-61 w/ hand of the gods & cat claw & ribbon & courageous suit & power armlet cecil-64 ragnarok & crystal equipment

    rydia-58 w/ fire whip & ribbon & minerva's plate & protect ring lena-63 killer bow & gold hairpin & sage's surplice & diamond armlet

  • and rydia has bahamut

  • This boss was really tough! I beated them by LV 93!!!!!! When I saw it s' HP by bestiary in config, I FAINTED!

  • 100,000 something right? I just reached the guy and I can't beat him. Now I have to back track and level up, get ragnarok, and bahamut...DAMN I'M SO CLOSE TO THE END!!!

  • In the snes version when he got to a certain point of damage he gets a full health restore. You would know when that happened when his pattern of attacks and spells changed.

  • Well I bet that sucked balls.

  • No not really, He didn't use big bang at that point so a lot less healing and more attacking happened.

  • HUZZAH!!! Let us all rejoice and eat a taco!!!

  • TACO!!!!!!!

  • TACO!!!! TACO MEANS HAPPINESS!!!

  • YEAH TACOS FTW!!!

Consider me the worst taco holder the world has ever known; every taco that I touch literally spills lol.

  • I think Old el Paso brand tacos now sells flat bottomed tacos XD problem solved!

  • SWEET that would be awesome to try!

Where are they anyway? I'm in Puerto Rico soooo, yeah lol.

  • Wow....one who does not know the joy of a complete taco....i weep for you. ;/

  • mmmm tacos...

  • Its amazing how i'll get replies to comments months after ive posted them!!!

  • *sniff* lol I know :/

  • XD LOL

  • Well in the DS version, it is possible to kill Zeromus without him EVER using Big Bang :P

I HAVE DONE THAT, and I'm seriously feeling satisfied :P

  • It's very to do that, especially on the third playthrough with maxed stats, Onion swords, Limit Break, Focus, Darkness, and ????'s Love maxed out at 99.

  • Dude, I mean on the FIRST play through :D

  • Yeah, he's still pretty easy, but that's still an accomplishment. Were you level 99 when you did that with all characters? That's the only way I think it's possible...

  • I WASN'T lvl 99, but I was like... certainly over lvl 60, but lower than 80... :D

  • se alquem conseguir me responder, como se consegue os outros summons depois do Bahamut ?

  • my characters are only on level 57 on average no wonder i cant beat him.

also i can belive the final boss only took around 4 min too beat and he made it look easy

  • i beet him easaliy with lvl 64 ppl

  • i beat him with my guys at lvl 40

  • no i ment the extra dungen guyb i mixed them up

  • oh. well i beat him with my guys at lvl 78.

  • this is one of my favorite series 4 out of 6 ff series

  • i remember beaten this boss in ps1. was hard as hell with lvl 70 chars

  • could these bosses sink any slower? lol

  • i beat him with nothing but standard attacks....i just held the a button the whole time....he never got an attack

  • Blake sucks, Kain can pwn that guy

  • Kain has nothing on the IMP DRAGOON from FFVI. The combination of maxed atk, def, mdef is awesome if only at the cost of magic and character-specific abilities.

  • i almost fell asleep waiting for him to die lol

  • Wow.

Zeromus lays it on alittle thick for his death, considering it took him a full minute to disappear.

  • Im not complaining or anything, but this was kind of out of sync.U whooped zeromuss ass . Earliest i did it was at lvl 50 but only cecil and rosa were leefft at the ned with 500 hp each. And Greencube333, Kain gets the dbl jump once he completes the lunar trial.

  • is it just me or did i see kain have the option to double jump?

  • Yea its one of his armor i think it makes it so u acn do double jump lol

  • The challenge definitely did NOT remain the same for the GBA advance version of this game, it was much, much easier than even the original SNES US version.

  • Yeah, this looks like a kiddie version.

  • I agree

  • The DS version is fucking the hardest

  • since when has challenge been bad? its hrd but thats not as common as it used to. now we have thousands of game you have no hard time with

  • I like hard, the GBA was very easy I'm glad to see they upped the fighting in the DS

  • DS was the easiest for me... I thought this vers was hard =/.... although my chars were the highest recommended level usually except kain... and cecil was 10 lvls above the recommened -.-

  • omg they scaled this game down alot from what it used to be. now its easy.....

  • Not really. Look at everyone's HP. The person who made this musta grinded like crazy before doing this. Either that or went through the secret dungeon and got the level ups before making the video. The challange has remained the same
