There are cultural differences between African Americans and not only Haitans, but West Indian ethnic groups in general. Therefore, Obama wouldn't necessarily be appealing to African Americans through his intervention in Haiti as they aren't necessarily the same group.

White Europeans would do what they have always done throughout the world, build, farm, manufacture, and provide jobs and money to the blacks. Alternatively the Chinese could do it, but they would likely be less humane. I learned in my American Government class about the fact that the Framers of the Constitution did not believe in a two-party system. One of them even said it would lead to a corrupt government. I believe that that person was right, because look how immature people are being with eachother. We need to spend more time on actual issues, not on "who is better than who." It really seems like politicians today are spending more time trying to defend their seats than actually doing something right.

Rush then goes on to talk about both the light skinned and dark skinned community. This was in no real way a statement about haiti, but a reference back to what harry reid said about obama being a light skinned african american without a "negro dialect". way to pull out a clip with no context.
