  • EL MEJOR INSTRUMENTISTA DE LA HISTORIA DE LA RAZA HUMANA HASTA HOY ...QUIEN SEPA DE ALGUIEN MEJOR NOS INDIQUE SU OBRA...ESPERAMOS IMPACIENTES GRACIAS

  • Michael Angelo Batio has got 3 accounts on youtube.

  • The ultimate blend of technical ability and soul! This guy is beyond amazing!

  • 1:29 just hilarious

  • 1.29 , vais like , 'hey try do this :P' !!

  • I couldn't believe a lot of people still don't now about this...

  • Steve Vai changed the world...

  • i love this song but i think the other die to live video is better performance and timing

  • massonic symbols everywhere!! ;-)

  • SEXUAL! I think I just had an eargasm... My favourite Vai song to jam along too! ^_^

  • American Beach sound track

  • Steve needs a wireless, trade mine for your jem? hahahahh

  • @MaralizeLegawana

i hope he does live forever, if not we shall meet on the other side :)

  • @MaralizeLegawana

    it is called marketing!

  • vai is great, I just don't like that he repeats himself too much

  • @e084812 Listen to malmsteen and you'll realize that steve doesn't repeats himself at all =)

  • it is the sex with the guitar...i can not describe that..

  • master. high class!

  • where's billy sheehan?

  • @gearivan1984 he was probably touring with mr big

  • @martynmcgilvray01 yea he was, and still is. i jsut saw him with mr big last weekend

  • @rickyjshiznit was it good yeah ?

  • @martynmcgilvray01 incredible show, i was right up against the stage in front of billy, even shook his hand a couple times. we also saw lynch mob and they were absolutely terrible, george's playing was very disappointing. mr big blew them off the stage. they did the encores where they switch instruments and play smoke on the water and everything.

  • Vai said he wrote this one in his DLR days, one of my fave vai songs.

  • 1:42. TC ELECHTRONICS pedal board. Nice weapon. :-)

  • oh shit, this is good

  • 0:45 TE DO TE DO DE DO

  • Is he running a Fender combo through those 2 carvin cabs?

  • @pepachet He uses the fender combo to give the sound a little bit of a different edge when he wants to...he didnt want to use a carvin combo because they sound similar

  • Half man half awesome

  • The two people who dissliked this are shredders

  • Probably the best ventriloquist ever to have lived.

  • 2:23 is that lydian?

  • @liamzuid Not. It's E mixolydian

  • i would definitely agree that aside from playing agressive notes on a violin perfectly, ann marie calhoun is a certified head-turner....she's hot,man....VAI also admitted on the Guitar World Mag that he doubted if this girl could play upon seeing her photo since she's really pretty.but it turns out that she couldn't only play her audition piece, she can rock...and according to Vai himself,he was totally blown...

  • I think Vai was better before. Now he always makes bad remixes of his own songs. Dont like the way he always needs to play psychedelic style or what to call it.

  • wait a second, i think the guitar wants to say something...

  • i would try to become like this guy even if it takes my whole life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this was from a jam tape from his DLR days

  • This leads one to believe that Little Stevie Vai might have heard Hendrix a time or two.

  • Modern Day Mozart!

  • Usually i listen mostly 60s rock (hendrix, cream, bob dylan) but this one TAKES ME!!!

    thumbs up if you agree

  • No one can compare to Vai on the guitar and composing for it. Vai is it. He is most definately modern Mozart- no less. It's quite unfortunate that the electric guitar is used as an instrument by brainless rock-heads.. when in fact it's probably the most universal instrument. Vai happens to be one of a small percentage who can demonstrate that the electric guitar is a futuristic instrument that is just incredible. Vai's two steps ahead of the next best professionals- making him almost godly.

  • @salasvalor01 calling him a modern mozart is a step too far, but you are right, he truly is a brilliant guitarist and musician.

  • @jckbac9 ok, I don't really see any more skill from Mozart over Vai. In fact, I think Vai is way more impressive.

  • So many layers and textures... sounds like theres more than 1 guitar. Fuckin love it! The solo isn't crazy fast either, I think I might be able to learn this one!!

  • @friggetyfuck there is more than one guitar

  • 2 People are not dying to live :)

  • amazing, just amazing

  • i want a universe!!

  • u uploaded this on christmas!

  • Bring it.... ANYBODY.

  • Vai is off this earth with these guitar skills. Not even Satriani can come up to par with this.

  • @nolan067 I was just thinking the same thing. Steve Vai is more than the best. It's against the laws of nature to be able to play like this.

  • @nolan067 And thats the best version of Die to Live :O now i know why he created "For the love of God", because he comes from Heaven :), from another world :)

  • @nolan067 I agree that Vai is off this earth! However, I feel that Steve Vai and Joe Satriani are equal in terms of technical skill, but Vai has more soul. I mean, Satch was SV's teacher! Satch also started this "genre" of all lead guitar. Anyway, I love this song =)

  • @nolan067 Oh please. Stop while youre ahead fanboy.

  • he's making love to his guitar.. that's why the faces..

  • u gota love the faces he makes to the croud

  • The circle is now complete. When I left Joe I was but the learner. Now I am the master."

  • Steve, please come and play in Winnipeg... please

  • How i wish you could come here in the Philippines. i want to see you play live here in Manila. You're my number 1 guitar Icon!!

  • This is so fucking awesome...Bow to the master!!

  • i like it how he waits a long time to play this song again because it makes the emotion build up AND if you here the tone...IT SONG FREAKIN BETTER THEN THE ORIGONAL!!!!

  • There is one person that obviously missed the "I love this" button.

  • greatest guitarist to ever walk this earth.

  • dude everytime I watch this I have to comment cause he's so badass. been playing the guitar for 20 years now and he's still my favorite

  • genius

  • Such a musical Journey. This is why Steve Vai inspires me. This is part of the reason why I play my guitar. This is partially why I'll never stop.

  • este pibe sabe y mucho

  • My favorite Vai tune!!

  • goosebumps....brrr

  • GOD!

  • @MaralizeLegawana And hard to master all of the little nuances throughout the song too ^^

  • Steve Vai, thanks for showing us your godliness.

  • Absolutely fucking awesome!!!!...bow down to thy master--STEVE VAI!!!!

  • Holy shit sounds so good!!!

  • how many people were there at this concert? cos i envy them so much

  • @amithabajan2 I saw this tour 2 nights. best tour of all of his

  • He is in a diffrente dimension, unbelievable! thank you so much for posting it

  • Super epic

  • Pause at 0:52 ... Skeleton, bottom left corner

  • The guy is the consumate MASTER!!!

  • love steve vai in 2:09 ^^

    good play in 3:52

  • love steve vai in 2:09 and his performance in 3:52

  • 1:26 - That kind of things makes Steve unique. Sos el más grande !!

  • Could you also upload Angel Food?

  • whats that green stuff on his neck pickups?

  • Scotch tape.... Steve tends to strike he strings with incredible force... so much so that the string gets stuck underneath the pickups... thus the tape...

  • green tape... but i don't believe the "stuck string" theory... maybe a stuck pick, that's very common, but a string it's like too much to me... not even in a really deep divebomb

  • Well that's what it says on his website, so w.e. believe it or not, the man does some impossible feats.

  • @otharennaur The reason the strings get stuck under the pickups is because occasionally he delibrately bends a string of the side of the fret board to make an odd sound, which occasionally results in accidental string trappage

  • Comment removed

  • he's playing flo, his other main ibanez. it has a sustainer on the neck pickup. I think the green tape is because from the way he plays or something, either the high E string gets caught up onder the sustainer or is scratches his finger or something, idk.

  • can you upload juice from the dvd plz?

  • Buy it!

  • Great Vai. :)
