  • This song just rocks out. The Stones were a great band who released some of the best rock and roll albums up until 1972. They are justifiably legendary. Saying they are better than the Beatles however is laughable. The Beatles are untouchable.

  • cuando este en el cajon o lo que sea estare escuchando stones

  • For sheer moxy and attitude, this song is par to none! It spits wicked out of every note..!

  • I love this song, I love the Stones!

  • One of the best Stones song ever!

  • Back when the Stones shot dope and wrote songs that spoke to the groin...

"Ah bet'cho mama don't know you kin spread like that..."

  • @vorkutaman Are you saying that to compare "She is a Rainbow" with "Martha My Dear" or "Play with Fire" with "Across the Universe" is impossible? Even the Beatles wrote a song for the Stones. Their Satanic Majesties Request can be easily compared to Sgt. Pepper, Beggar's Banquet can be easily compared to Abbey Road and i really can't see why the Stones can't be compared to the Beatles.

  • @vorkutaman Of course you can compare Beethoven to Radiohead, the first one is a better songwriter, and overall best artist than anyone in radiohead. It doen't matter the genre, just what you compare. In the case of Beatles vs Stones, it's even easier, as both of them are in some ways very alike (Not that I agree with the idea that Stones used to rip off The Beatles all the time).

  • Stones > Beatles

  • 2:17 Am I the only one who thinks this looks a little like Michael J. Fox?

  • You gotta girlfriend say she's wilder than you, why don't you bring her upstairs. Just f'ing brilliant mick. F'ing brilliant. Best f'ing lyric in the song.

  • @cgraber Maybe the best fukkin song on that incredible LP. Not just the lyrics, but also the delivery and production.

  • Is this one of Keith's first open G-tunings?

  • Hey I'm a fan of the stones, I saw a video of you ke I really liked the song Stray Cat Blues, and in that video is a picture that I love coming out in the second 21. We might do you spend or post here on your space or better copy the address from where did you get? is that I want to take it out on poster for my room. Thank you very much.

  • 2:00 <3

  • Dirty tune & dirty lyrics.

Proper rock and roll. Better than the bland crap and vulgar shit kids are force-fed with now.

  • Still couldnt beleive this was in a Guitar hero game... definitly my favorite Stones song

  • one of their greatest songs ever.

  • Isn't it funny how people used to view having sex with under age chickens as acceptable in the sixties! Great album, but not on the same planet as Revolver

  • @paucannell thank yo finallysomeone see that

  • "Hey got something to you" ahhh i just love that part

  • Come to Mama!!!!!

  • always so sexy always so dirty the stones lurching jangling at their best omg...

  • i believe in the global south, jesus and the rolling stones.

  • You say you got a friend that's wilder than you, Why don't you bring her upstairs? If she's so wild then she can join in too. It's no hanging matter, it's not capital crime.

  • -10x5 dislikes =500 likes :D

  • Stray Cat Blues,motherfuckers!

  • it's no hanging matahhhhhherrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  • @jwahh In most countries lol

  • 5 people are STRAY DOG!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Attention "trollers" or "trawlers" or whatever the fuck you're called: GET A LIFE.

  • @dreekd80 trolls

  • hey Julie, out kitty cat has a new bag of tricks..

  • I was 15 years old when this was released. I woulda come upstairs. In a heartbeat.

  • il vero genio era BRIAN JONES. Tutto il resto e' noia!!!

  • Shit, 82 more views for 200,000.

  • My dad had every thing it seemed from the stones in the 60's, but only Revolver by that other group . when I asked him why no Beatles? He said they were Faggots, not a MAN's group, not Tough like the Stones. It's the same thing that draws me towards Death Metal : ) (please don't tell him I like the Beatles too)

  • @emdeth

"My dad had every thing it seemed from the stones in the 60's, but only Revolver by that other group"

    revolver is a beatles album?

  • @JoshRobertson142 I apologize for being so unclear, I do mean that Beatles Revolver is the album by that other group. An album I like btw. I must have been pretty tired when I wrote That. : )

  • Shocking. Mick Jagger gleefully sings about pedophilia and rape.

  • @TruthAxe are you really that much of a dumbass, or was that a joke?

  • @TruthAxe It's from the perspective of a guy 'lusting' after a 15 year old groupie. It's not that Mick's singing about rape gleefully.

  • @TruthAxe You really get around with your trolling, don't you? Where am I gonna see you next? Well, hopefully nowhere because your trolling isn't clever, interesting or even infuriating. It's actually almost funny, seeing such an incredibly obvious troll; so over-the-top and ridiculous that it's almost impossible to take you seriously at all.

  • And here you are, @Vanguard448, like a lemming, compelled to get my attention over mere words. Oh how you amuse.

  • It ain't exactly "Day Tripper", is it? Nobody can touch the Rolling Stones.

  • oh god fuck i lurve the stones listen to keef's guitar cum in at 3.29 uhwa uhwa uhwa uh uhwa uhwa uhwa uh uhwa uhwa uhwa uh

  • @markymark21c Fucking AWESOME!!!! How about Live Midight Rambler from Ya Ya's? KILLER!

  • @jazzyx828 god yes, where jagger famously whips the stage in the slow part with that big silver belt the hells angels gave to him... soo you heard about the boston....wham! honey it's not one of those....wham!

  • mmm... great song ;D

  • It's interesting to me that the rock audience was more tolerant about the content of this song in the late 60's and 70's then people today. It seems like there was a brief window when the rules and social mores broke down and people just did and said whatever the hell they wanted. You could never get away with writing a song like this or Brown Sugar in 2011.

  • One of the Stones greatest songs. I love the Beatles, but I think the Stones are a better.

  • @phatcracker2007 man different things, can't compare them really

  • Best song from Beggars Banquet

  • What a groove!

  • jagger giving it the juice and battering down all the Doors with raw lyrics and class rock..beware when micks about lock up your daughters and the sheep

  • Jagger at 0:06--pure sex--my oh my!

  • This song is absolutely about a young runaway having loose sex. Get over it & realize that we are all slaves to procreation.

  • These are the greatest men on earth!!!!

  • Merci pour la bonne qualité de l'enregistrement

Thank you for the good quality of the recording

  • "I can see that you're fifteen years old"

    No I don't want your I.D.

You look so rest-less and you're so far from home

    But it's no hanging matter

    It's no capital crime

  • @txjayde16 Assshole. he does not talk about a "little girl".

  • Comment removed

  • @txjayde16 I am sorry. I have to disagree...a pedophile does not need a song to inspire him. He is a sick bastard to begin with. There are far worse things out there for our teen and pre teens..no need to pick on a song that was recorded 40 years ago, celebrating the culture of that time. I love this song, yet i have no desire to be with a teen age girl.If they are allowed to use this song as an excuse, well thats a breakdown in society, not the songs fault.

  • @txjayde16 the song never implies the age of the first person.. since you wanna be technical..the singer could very well be a 17 yr old kid who also left home...i do not get a message of pedophelia from the song. If you do, thats your thing. Its a brilliant song celebrating the culture of the period it was recorded

  • @524pmdnyc "...i can see that you're 15 years old, no i don't want your id..."

  • @txjayde16 Assshole. he does not talk about a "little girl". Its referring to a girl that left home, maybe an 18 yr old. It was common in the late 60s. Relax

  • Great song - thanks for uploading an all-time favorite. The effect would have been much improved by sticking to photos from the time of its release.

  • What year is this song from?

  • @cupofpaper 1968

  • This song is rather pornographic than yearning for having sex with a underage girl, I suppose. I don't recall I ever read that this song caused any controversy when it came out in 1968.

  • @robin14669 Where does it mention an underage girl? It was common for 18 yr old girls to leave home in the late 60s...and 18 yrs old are legal

  • You look so scared, I'm not no mad brained bear. Just classic Mick, just f'ing classic.

  • Bet your momma don't know you scream like that.

  • @rossobass420 You're screwed...you innocent little "screamer"....

  • sounds similar to heroin from the velvet underground

  • great song

  • Wasn't Madonna one of these girls at one time, before she was famous ?

I wonder if he had a hand in getter her known as top pop kitten.....

    just a thought.. no matter..

I still love Mick, even if he is top #1 stray kitty...

all the kitties love his cat scratches,

    yes indeedy, meow, meow >>>>

    Stones Roll n rule !!!!

    ♫♥AnnA♥♫

  • Great great song from the worlds greatest rock and roll band!

  • @styx4ever1963 Worlds greatest band!

  • how can you NOT admire the stones :)

  • one of the greatest rock''n roll music include the real truth!!!!!!

  • To all assholes, rather than sit here and bash on Guitar Hero, be happy that kids are here listening to this and not listening to rap or some shit. I don't care how you find your music, just listen to it.

  • Stones 68-72 were the greatest rock band ever. No one before or since has ever equaled the music of that era.

  • Is the lyrics about a phedofile?

  • @t49n2w yup. but consentual

  • @t49n2w Technically it isn't pedophilia when the girl is over the age of 12.

  • @FuttBucker667 where?

  • @MichaelHansenFUN What do you mean 'where?' Girls generally go through puberty around the age of 12 no matter where they come from. A pedophile is someone who's attracted to people who haven't hit puberty yet.

  • @FuttBucker667 when you said technically I was wondering because it is supposed to be 18 or so

  • @FuttBucker667 well first of all there is what Tony Alamo Religious Pedophile , Dateline To Catch a Predator, and the confusion in the led zeppelin book...

  • @FuttBucker667 lmao u effin pedo

  • In the pictures of Mick when he's older like at 2:24 is that thing in his ear something he has to use or a hearing aid or what cuz you'd think being around that loud noise for almost 50 years would make you go deaf.

  • fuck guitar hero dude, it's not the only way to listen to fucking good music!!

  • backstasge fun??Really hard to understand 4 me,but such a rhythm!!!

  • zigh zigh zighhh!!!

  • 3 people have dogs

  • "bet your mama don't know...that you scratch my back"

  • I Love Rolling Stones. Amazing...

  • rolling stones best song

  • Love the pervy laugh at :07

  • w000000t 100% drum this song expert.

    guitar hero warriors of rock.

  • THIS Song is a ball tearer..

  • Jagger was 23 at this time, not 67. and he was /is loved by teens...

  • The Stones at their finest!

  • Born in '68. This is a Top Five for me. Beggars has a sound to it, totally independant of everything else on Earth.

  • to jagger julie thank you for agreat song from a great band

  • Great song with a very exciting intro, one of Keith's best. I call this the 'Voodoo era' of The Stones, with songs like Jumping Jack Flash, Sympathy for the devil and Midnight rambler. All with the same provocative rhythms.

  • Fuck Guitar Hero and Rock Band most of you kids wouldn't even know what good music is.

  • NO WAY,TODAY, stones can do that song in concert - aagin, unless mick changes the age of the girl, come on .. the guy is a grandfather .. now, would he would he want his grandaughter as the subject this song, would you? no way, no way!

  • @newenergysol

And the funny thing is on Get Yer Ya Ya's Out the girl is 13!

  • you could get away with murder up until the 90s...now everything is so censered its ridiculous!!!!

    killer song!!

  • Great song!! i love the lycris

  • One of my favorite Stones songs

  • Great album, maybe when Jagger/Richards wrote Stray Cat- society tolerance for an adult to having an affair with a 15 year old was acceptable on some level., Stray Cat- Jagger says,, "I can see that you're fifteen years old. No I don't want your I.D.. It's no capital crime," Come on, that is a sex crime, a very bad rap.Today, Jagger would be listed on the sex offender database for life, very bad idea,

  • @newenergysol

well in England up utill the 80's you could pose topless at 16. so i don't think a 1 year gap would have mattered that much.

  • @newenergysol Uh, the song is fiction darling.

  • @newenergysol What the fuck you talkin' about, Junior? It's just a song. Forget what you THINK you hear, sit back and just ENJOY it..

  • i play this on the quitar heroo :P

  • i know all of the Stones i have to say this is in my top 5

  • Great video, but why, Julie, did you stop it when the best part is the last? Re-do it with the whole song! You owe Keith, Brian, Bill and Charlie the chance to really shine at the end of the most rocking song in their whole catalogue! Put more of Brian in there and take every photo of Ron Wood out. He wasn't in the band for eight more years.

  • @christoJihad2 That's no capital crime.

  • great pictures

  • this is just filthy gorgeous sleaze

  • @callicolady

    3:35....Yeah! scratch that back.

  • And the rest?

  • It's amazing how many great songs the stones have.

  • This band is essential and they along with the beatles Dylan Many other will be played in 100 ++++ years from now wild wild wild

  • There when created...1968

  • for me in Spring 1968 in London...My mother heard it..."Bet yorur mother does not know you Scratch my back"

  • Written for me in Spring 1968 in London...My mother heard it..."Bet yorur mother does not know you Scratch my Back."

    Hey Mick...U remember.

  • @TheDreamwalker2 Are you saying YOU in 68 used to scratch Micks back?,

    and then some huh?

Got any good stories?, c'mon now, dont be shy, its only YouTube. : D

  • @FarSideofTown

Hey there, YES, we dated for 3 years, Dead Flowers Was his goodbye song, just before he married Bloody Bianca...GRRR.

Used to ride around London in his James Bond Astin Martin, which sold recently for over $4 million...He also had a vintage Orange "Morgan" sports car...Sigh, the Good Old Days!!!

  • @FarSideofTown

    You got it babe!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this song is fun to dance and sing along to when you've got a lot of people around. just sayin.

  • My favorite song from my favorite album from my favorite band. The Fucking Rolling Stones, man. The Fucking Rolling Stones!!!

  • Could someone please tell me what he says @ 0:11 -ish?

no matter how many times i listen, i can't understand what he says...

  • @susanne1310, I've always thought it was "Yeahgotsumminatellya," as in "Yeah, got somethin' to tell ya" all strung together, but that's just a guess.

  • @67suzzles I think you might be right! Thank you! :D

  • @67suzzles yeah! got some tale... (to tell you)....

  • @67suzzles I always thought it was "Yeah I got some tail" because of the cat theme. But I could be totally wrong. I like how the Stones lyrics are often unintelligible until you read the lyrics.

  • @mwelle1 Yes, you are probably right, that makes sense. Someone else replied the same thing to me a couple months ago. I guess I'm still hearing the same thing my innocent ears told me back in 1985 based on my scratchy cassette tape player....in the good old days....

  • Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock yeah!

  • love your name! haha rolling stones kick ass! by far my favorite band :D

  • So good.

  • you're a bitch this is sped up

  • I love the piano on this song--Nicky Hopkins was brilliant

  • @tapeduk I agree, I was browsing some used vinyl and came across his "the tin man was a dreamer" album...love his playing, bobby keys and mick taylor play on it also.....sad he died so young.

  • Great job Julie! A masterpiece of a song!

  • Would you let your daughter date a Rolling Stone?

  • LOVE this song! I'd subscribe, but You Tube sent me this message: 'You have too many subscriptions compared to your number of subscribers.' (Quote.) I keep up with my subscriptions! When I contacted them, I was told to 'drop some of your subscriptions, and then you can add new ones'. WTF? Anyway, thank you for posting this. It would have been posted to my favourites, and it will be, ASAP They also think I have too many favourites.) Those anal-retentive Nazi huns...

  • Listen to the production, and Keith's weird tuning. That's why I loved this album. This song's so way overlooked by the public.

  • one of the best rock songs ever, hands down. and it's true the strangling prudishness of today has banished this sort of lyric forever.

  • JaggerJulie, u luv Mick, don't you!!? I luv him too.......

  • @TheCASH75 yes I do =)

  • @JaggerJulie HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY JAGGA JULIE,,,,have you saw "CHRIS999"hes uploaded the best stones videos EVER on utube ,,,,,,,,WOW MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN,,,,,,,,CHECK THEM OUT ,,JIMMY

  • great video. i wonder who keith hung with last night?

  • Nette Photos - aber an Ron Wood war zu dieser Zeit nicht zu denken! HE

  • If you release a song like that today you have the media networks police screamin down your back that your a child molester. i quess back then a thirteen year old chick fuckin a rocj=k star was ok. Then why are they tryin to crucify Roman Polaski ?

  • @frank02111 because Mick and Keith weren't molesting 13 year olds? And Marianne Faithful doesn't count...

This song was (we can assume) anti or ambivalent at best. it wasn't meant as a roadmap for Roman. My 2 cents

  • @frank02111 Whats even funnier is there isnt a rock star on the planet who hasnt banged a 13year old at some point.

  • What a killer song!

  • Thanks for posting, photos are "cool", check the version on "Get yer ya ya's out" with Mick Taylor on 2nd guitar...a really GREAT Rock&Roll band

  • Wicked song by the greatest band ever,,,,no sissy Beatles stuff.

  • Beim stray cat blues haben photos von ronnie nichts zu suchen - das war bagger's banquet. Zu diesen Zeiten war an Ronnie noch nicht zu denken, jedoch an Brian Jones. HE

  • 2:33 Jagger looks so angelic, lol

  • here kitty, kitty... this is awesome vid ~xoxo~ .. hi Julie !!!
